"I see I can't defeat you!" Blade yelled out, raising his sword above his head to catch Davy's attention before his own contract magic completely imploded.
"I don't fight useless battles, so I surrender!!" He screamed, his voice carrying a mixture of relief and exhaustion.
"Oh... That isn't surprising at all," Davy said with a low chuckle, drifting down from the sky as he cleared his throat. "Don't mind me... Anyway, Carl from the Dragon Academy has officially won this semi-final round! Moving right along to the next match!!"
The millions of spectators watched in utter, suffocating silence as the two walked off the stage. The divine golden light faded entirely from the stadium, replaced by a tense, chilling atmosphere as Hitachi and Jessica stepped forward from opposite ends of the platform, their boots clicking softly against the freshly restored stone tiles.
