She thought, a sudden flash of panic hitting her, genuinely scared of unknowingly killing her opponent and violating Mirabella's strict no-kill mandate.
Andrew coughed up a trail of dark smoke and blood, his body broken, but to everyone's absolute surprise, his sheer stubbornness forced him to stagger back up to his feet:
"I won't lose!" He yelled, his vision blurry as he blindly shot forward towards her again.
"Seems I don't need to hold back." Grace murmured, her demeanor instantly resetting to the clinical focus she had practiced during their training arcs.
