"Most of the time", Gu Yuxuan answered.
Zimo turned away. This is when he realized that he might not escape from the shadows of his past. The ones he might have to return to, that remained a threat.
Gu Yuxuan sat up and leaned forward to look at him. "Do you want me to stop doing it?"
Zimo turned his head back to him. "Can you?"
"I'm a lawyer. Reading people was just one of the things I had to learn. Don't take it so personal."
"So you can read everyone like that?"
"Uhh…" Gu Yuxuan's eyes jumped around and he laid back down. "I haven't tried it on others. So… only you at this point."
A chuckle left Zimo's mouth and he lowered his head next to Gu Yuxuan's. "Do you think that highly of me?"
"You're the first person to dare get close to me like that. I had to keep my guard up."
Zimo tilted his head to look at him. "What about now? Do you trust me fully?"
