We all say quietly in the dinner table..... my dad, mom and myself ofcourse. we were all short of words for the unfolding truth..... I was still trying to assure my self that this is just a series of misunderstanding or sets of bullshit, but couldn't bring my self to believe it.
My dad broke the silence, Linda....(he exhaled softly), I think you are developing your powers....no I don't want this I don't want all this, dad please no,no tears rolled down my eyes, I was devastated and hopeless.Mom....Dad so you both knew bout this why didn't you tell me, and now I don't even know what to do at this moment.... guys am literally tied up.....and still I don't understand all this.....how did this resolve and why me.
(There was deep silence)I stared at my mom who was already tearing up, she began..... some time ago, in this city there lived a beautiful young girl named Alice formally called Ally, her mom was a well-known actress who travelled round the world living her daughter in the hands of her sister "Ally's aunt", who took good care of her.
Alley is now 16.... on a random day she was heading to school when she heard about another Woman who had recently gone missing. This wasn't the first time she had heard about this.... this case has gone round the city like a casual happening, Ally took a deep breath while shaking her head as she continued her walk to school, later that day ally got home and told her aunt... but she just shrugged it off and told alley to always be safe.
Two days later, ally retuned home but couldn't find her aunt anywhere, she cried looking round the city under the cold rain in search of her aunt but was no where to be found, she ended up spending the night outside as she cried herself to sleep.
The next day, she had to report to the station, They asked for her guardian but she didn't have one as her aunt was now missing. her mom was called back to the city but couldn't make it til the next day. When she came she took ally back home who was still in the shock of her aunt's disappearance and refused to go to school.
Two months later alley still haven't heard of her aunt's matter from the police and she decides to take the search into her own hands.
She posted fliers, went to hospitals, clinic and her friends houses, but no clues or whereabouts of her aunt and this left her devastated. she was walking down 5he road and saw a flier about a wizard who granted wishes and cured random people for small amounts or donations.
she wasted no time and went to the location, she told the wizard about her problems,and the wizard asked for a small token of a rear duck found in the west on the devil's peak of handrail..... it was the name of a mountain which served as the water source to the city. She agreed and placed a phone call to have the duck delivered to her location. He used a spell to check for her aunt's location through a crystal ball, she was shown the location but couldn't figure out where that place could be and how she could possibly find her way there.
He asked him to try something else but he replied saying that's all I can do, for I can't set my hands beyond these pages as only trouble was beyond these pages, wait it's a spell book ally asked, yes it is and some certain pages can't be opened else there will be consequences he stated.
I'll do it, I don't care about the consequences, please help me, look child I can't get my hands dirty with this... I'll do it please I beg of you I'll do anything.... infact, she pulled out her phone and called same number to bring two of the rear duck immediately. The wizard watched her for some secs as she kneeled in tears, He stood up and went to a shelf where he brought out a book and gave it to ally.
So you want to go through with this then I'll only tell you to go exactly with the instructions at midnight and be ready for any consequence acompined with your wish. Yes, thank you so so much, she stayed at the place thanking the wizard before the ducks arrived and she left.
At midnight, she went through with the procedures which also insisted on her blood for the ritual. The moment her blood dropped on the spell ground, she fell unconscious and found herself in a huge cage filled with women, blood stains echoing with cried and pleads, ally immediately went on the search for her aunt within the crowd.
she finally saw her sitting at the corner, and she rushed to her in tears, somehow with the help of her spells she released all the women, and found out all the guards were laying on conscious. she called the police to the location and the women were rescued and about 15 culprits were arrested.
Turns out they were actually about to sell the women across borders. But thankfully they were rescued, The city made a statue of her and placed it in the park,so all could know of her wonderful deed. But it didn't end there cause there were consequences attached to the spells she casted.
On the night of a blood moon, while ally was fast asleep she had a dream where she saw herself running in a dark ally while being chased by a wan in a white gown with pure white eyes. she was caught and was zabed by a dark force right on her chest. She woke up all scared and went to the bathroom to watch her face and screamed at the sight of a dark spirit floating as her reflection. she ran straight to her mom's room, she tried waking her up but she couldn't, she then ran to her aunt's room but couldn't wake her either. she sat at the corner covering her face as spirits floated round the room.
She cried helplessly, and realized her aunt was moving uneasily. she ran out of the house knowing the spirits will follow but she realized not all followed her but remained in her aunt's room and was sucking out her energy, she screamed and tried using her powers to suck in the spirits and it actually worked, she sucked in all the energy before passing out. The next day she went to the wizard and he explained that it was a generational curses and will keep occuring to a selected few of young girls and they'll have to fight it to keep herself and others safe as well.
