Chapter 38: Bombarda Maxima
Thirty minutes later, after completely erasing Jeremy and Tyler's mind of the lewd events that took place prior, Max was once more in his black Camaro, driving down the road, utilizing portal magic on his way to the Armory in Atlanta, Georgia. This time, he had with him two warlocks in the backseat and a werewolf in the front.
'It turns out, I hadn't really needed to clear Jere and Ty of their memories at all,' Max thought as he drove onward, briefly glancing at Mason from the side of his eyes. 'Based on Mason, Kaleb and Marcus' memories, when the influence of the Omega Rune was active, all anyone affected by it can remember is immense, otherworldly pleasure — Not the person they made their bitch.'
'All Mason and the others can remember is the unrivaled pleasure from fucking me. I'm pretty sure Mason's figured out it was me he robbed the virginity of… if the glances are anything to go by.'
Mason, who kept eyeing Max and sniffing the air, couldn't help but to have looked guilty as Max had gotten into the car.
When Max realized the werewolf could smell his own few pounds worth of seed up Max's plugged asshole, Max used his telekinesis to coat himself in a passive telekinetic shell, preventing his scent from leaking.
When Mason realized what Max did, he frowned, nearly whining out his deep displeasure.
It was so awfully adorable that Max nearly gave in to werewolf and dropped the shell — But he didn't.
As Max drove on auto-pilot, his mind drifted elsewhere.
'How am I gonna tell Kol I'm no longer a virgin?' he wondered. 'I really wanted my first time to be with him, gods dammit. That fucking Omega Pheromone rune… it's ruined everything.'
Originally, when Max had thought up the rune, he wanted it to be something that enhanced sexual experience, heightened arousal and made sex extra fun. That was the thought behind the rune — Nothing malicious. Nothing that bypassed consent. Just that.
Unfortunately, Max underestimated the true extent of his own magical power. Instead of a regular sex enhancing rune, Max created something even more powerful; something almost parasitic.
He had created the curse that was the Omega Pheromone Rune.
Not only had the curse taken the forms of consent and cloud his own mind, but it also turned Max feral for man-smell.
Hell, just thinking about the 4 pounds of leaked gizz just sloshing up his ass nearly made Max activate the rune, allowing all three men present to rail him once again.
Max clenched his fist against the steering wheel, willing himself to resist.
'The rune itself is corrosive to my own mind — And, because it's etched into both my mind and my soul it's impossible to get rid of,' Max thought as he drove. 'Any manly scent can set me off into an uncontrollable heat, automatically activating the rune. I'm basically a bomb, just waiting to go off, but instead of an explosion, I'll end up becoming an implosion — An implosion of seed, sucking in all of the milk from all my men — and probably others — until I'm either too high to take anymore or just too full.'
Max shifted in his seat, uncomfortably hard. The movement didn't escape the gazes of the other men in the car who all glanced briefly at Max, hiding their own hard-on.

Max continued driving.
It didn't take long for him to reach the Armory, what with his blatant speeding and short distance portalling.
As he parked near the front, Max paused, looking up at the building. Even from here he could feel the immense psychic presence that was Sybil, despite the siren's sealed state.
Max scratched the palm of his hand, as if by reflex. It had only just healed over from the rune Max carved into it — and with it, his soul.
Looking down at the surface of his palm, Max looked at his latest creation. Like all the other runes, when it's not in use, it was invisible to all eyes — But, because Max was thinking about it, the Rune of Assimilation glowed a vibrant crimson glow, if faintly.
'The Rune of Assimilation allows me to completely assimilate my target — Memories. Knowledge. Abilities. Everything that makes up my target ends up as mine and only mine to claim,' Max thought, unconsciously rubbing the flat of his fingers against the palm with the rune etched into it. 'It's an original rune I invented — A what one would call an Inevitable Spell — Not quite Absolute magic but one that shares the same ending in that it will happen regardless of defense. After all, it is a conceptual-level spell.'
It drained Max to create — Or, rather, it drained Max even further than he already had been drained after the rough-fucking the wolves had him experience.
Shaking his head as if to physically force himself to focus, Max still couldn't bring himself to move. Anxiety spurred within him. He was actually afraid — Not of Sybil, that siren.
No, Maximus was afraid of the rune he had created. He was worried that this 'Rune of Assimilation' would end up a curse just like the Omega Pheromone Rune.
He hated being out of control — Of anything. Himself. Others. The situation. The plot. And that rune gave him a feeling of utter helplessness — When it was active, he was a slave to his own base instincts and bodily urges.
It was horrifying.
For someone who thrived on control, that rune was the ultimate nightmare.
'I don't want to feel like that again,' Max thought, clenching his fists so hard, the nails bit into his palms, drawing blood. 'Ever again. Never again.'
"Max…" a hand on his arm brought Maximus out from his head. He looked up to see a very concerned Mason furrowing his brows, frowning on the blood dripping from Max's palms.
The two locked eyes, and Max saw a rare desire in Mason — A desire to comfort Max that Max had only ever seen from one person. His mother.
Quicker than a blur, Max retracted his arm, unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car, passing out an "I'm fine," as he did so.
By the time he made it up to the doors of the Armory, Maximus sensed the presences of Mason and the others following behind, his hand already healed by the time they caught up.
Waiting outside the doors for Max was none other than Enzo and a handful of his entourage.
"Maximus…" Enzo smiled, pleased to see Max again. "It's been a time."
"Yes, it has, hasn't it, Lorenzo?" Max nodded. "Take me to her, won't you?"
"Of course," Enzo led the way to the tomb — the prison that one of Max's own cousins — specifically Lucy Bennett — had sealed the siren within in the original timeline.
In that timeline, Virginia killed Lucy soon afterwards to prevent any Bennett from opening that seal.
In this one, Max wanted to save as many Bennetts as possible, so he had no intentions of letting that play out. No, why would he, when he can just completely irrelevate that entire storyline by assimilating both those annoying sirens earlier on?
"Here we are," Enzo stopped before a vaulted door. "My associates tell me the sealing, while absolutely weaker, is still quite dense. Plus it's reinforced by generations' worth of backup enchantment —"
"Bombarda Maxima!"
BOOOM!
A great explosion rocked the entire Armory, causing smoke to arise from the ruins of a vaulted door. As both werewolf and vampire — and warlocks, too — looked at Max like he was either insane or a monster — or both — Maximus had his eyes on a figure scurrying forward, out of the darkness.
Even before she became visible, her song was being hummed from her lips. And, with the song, came the psychic touch — An external will, tapping carelessly into the minds of the men before her.
Maximus felt it.
She wanted to enslave. She wanted to bind. She wanted to make minions out of them to do her bidding.
She wanted them to sin — To bring forth came in all its hellish magnificence.
And it would've worked, too… had it not been for Max.
"Bitch! Do you know who the fuck I am?" Max released a massive psychic wave, crippling the psychic before him with far too little effort. "I'm Maximus Bennett, Bitch."
Max had shielded the minds of everyone present with his own psychic powers the moment they had entered the building.
Suffice to say, Sybil stood no chance whatsoever.
Walking up to the psychic, who was heaving on her knees, Maximus wasted no time.
Activating the Rune of Assimilation, Max felt a pain and pressure that was only second to very few beings. But, with this pressure, came the visions...
