The broken wall of El Dorado still let in a steady stream of sunlight.
Dust drifted lazily through the air where Carrion had crashed through earlier.
No one had bothered to repair it.
At the moment, far more important matters were being discussed.
The room had grown quiet after Guy Crimson finished explaining the truth about Loki.
A Primordial Demon.
An Angel.
A being who had fought Velzard and Velgrynd and dominated.
Even among Demon Lords, that was not something that could be ignored.
Silence lingered.
But it did not remain empty.
Because each person in the room was now thinking about the same individual.
Loki.
Carrion crossed his arms slowly.
His golden eyes had narrowed slightly as he stared toward the floor.
'A Primordial Demon…'
'And an Angel on top of that.'
He let out a quiet breath.
Three days ago the world had trembled.
Mountains shook.
Even the skies themselves seemed to tremble with pressure.
And now he knew why.
Carrion's lips slowly curved upward.
'So that's what caused it.'
His blood stirred.
Excitement.
Not fear.
Never fear.
'Someone strong enough to fight two True Dragons…'
Carrion glanced briefly toward Velzard.
The Ice Dragon remained completely composed.
As if nothing Guy had said was surprising.
Carrion chuckled quietly to himself.
'This world really is wide.'
Even after becoming a Demon Lord…
Even after conquering his nation…
Even after gaining strength that ordinary beings could not even comprehend…
There were still monsters like that walking around.
Carrion's grin widened slightly.
'Good.'
Pressure weighed on his shoulders.
But it wasn't unpleasant.
It was motivation.
A reminder that standing still meant being left behind.
Behind him, Phobio looked even more excited than Carrion.
"Lord Carrion…"
His eyes shone.
"That guy sounds incredible."
Carrion laughed.
"Yeah."
Suphia folded her arms.
"You're both insane."
Albis spoke calmly.
"Strength attracts strength."
She looked toward Guy.
"And it seems this Loki is the type to draw the attention of many."
Phobio grinned.
"I wanna fight him."
Suphia smacked him on the back of the head.
"Don't be stupid."
Across the room…
Luminous Valentine was also thinking.
But her thoughts were far colder.
Her crimson eyes remained fixed on Guy.
Yet her mind was elsewhere.
'A Primordial Demon.'
'An Angel.'
'A hybrid.'
Her fingers curled slowly.
Images flashed in her mind.
The capital of Lubelius.
Destroyed streets.
Crumbling buildings.
Her people.
Her nation.
And above it all—
That glowing figure in the sky.
Luminous's eye twitched.
'That man.'
Her hatred rose instantly.
"Unforgivable."
The word slipped quietly from her lips.
Roy blinked.
"My lady?"
Luminous's gaze sharpened.
"That creature."
Her voice grew colder.
"I will never forgive him."
Louis remained silent.
Roy frowned slightly.
Luminous's anger did not diminish.
It only deepened.
"First he invades my nation."
"Then he destroys my capital."
Her nails pressed into her palm.
"And then…"
Her eyes darkened further.
"…he dares to lay his hands on Hinata."
The temperature in the room seemed to drop.
Guy sighed.
"Oh come on."
Luminous immediately turned toward him.
"Do not defend him."
Guy raised both hands lazily.
"I'm just saying—"
"That idiot wasn't even conscious when most of that happened."
Luminous cut him off instantly.
"I do not care."
Her voice was absolute.
"Possession."
"Loss of control."
"Rampage."
She scoffed.
"Those are excuses."
Roy quietly muttered,
"…That sounds familiar."
Louis whispered,
"…Do not say it."
But Luminous had already continued.
"That demon will receive the same treatment as that useless dragon."
Guy raised an eyebrow.
"…You mean Veldora?"
Luminous's lips curled in disgust.
"Yes."
Her voice dripped with disdain.
"That overgrown lizard and this demon are exactly the same."
She crossed her arms.
"If he appears in Lubelius again…"
Her eyes gleamed dangerously.
"…I will kill him."
Rain muttered under her breath.
"Wow."
Misery sighed quietly.
Guy rubbed his forehead.
"You're seriously holding a grudge."
Luminous glared at him.
"You would too."
Guy shrugged.
"Maybe."
"But Loki's not the type to destroy things out of boredom."
Luminous scoffed.
"That is exactly what it looked like."
Guy sighed again.
"You're impossible."
Velzard spoke calmly from the side.
"Luminous."
Everyone glanced toward her.
Velzard's icy eyes remained calm.
"The situation was unusual."
"Even for him."
Luminous did not respond immediately.
But she also did not argue.
After a moment…
She exhaled slowly.
Then turned toward the door.
"I have heard enough."
Roy blinked.
"My lady?"
Luminous began walking away.
Her cloak swayed behind her.
Guy leaned back again.
"So you're leaving?"
Luminous stopped at the entrance.
She looked over her shoulder.
Her crimson eyes locked onto Guy.
"When that demon wakes up…"
Her voice was calm.
"…inform me."
Guy grinned.
"Oh?"
"You want to meet him personally?"
Luminous's expression remained cold.
"I will decide his fate myself."
With that—
She turned and walked out.
Roy and Louis quickly followed.
The room grew quiet again.
Carrion stretched his shoulders.
"Well."
He let out a small laugh.
"That was informative."
Guy glanced at him.
"You satisfied?"
Carrion nodded.
"Yeah."
He looked toward the broken wall and the distant sky beyond it.
"Now I know what shook the world."
Phobio cracked his knuckles excitedly.
"Man…"
"I wish we saw that fight."
Suphia rolled her eyes.
"You'd die."
Carrion chuckled.
"Maybe."
Then his expression sharpened slightly.
"But that just means I need to get stronger."
He turned toward Guy.
"Thanks for the explanation."
Guy waved lazily.
"No problem."
Carrion began walking toward the exit.
Albis followed behind him.
Suphia dragged Phobio along.
Carrion paused briefly at the doorway.
Then looked back.
"Next time I see that Loki…"
His grin returned.
"I hope he's awake."
Guy laughed.
"Hahaha."
"I'm sure he will be."
Carrion nodded.
"Good."
Then he left.
The room grew quiet again.
Only Guy, Leon, Velzard, Rain, Misery, and Leon's attendants remained.
Guy leaned back in his chair once more.
A faint smile spread across his face.
