Chapter 319 - Chapter 316

Roy called Harry to his office the next morning. When Harry entered, the room smelled faintly of parchment and herbs, the usual organized chaos of Roy's principal desk surrounding him.

"Sit down, Harry," Roy said, gesturing to the chair across from him.

Harry did so, his expression a mixture of curiosity and unease.

Roy began, his tone calm but commanding. "I want to tell you a story… about the man who tried to dominate both the wizarding and Muggle worlds. How he started his life, how he delved into the darkest magic, and how he split his soul into objects—horcruxes. And ultimately, how he died. But a fragment of his soul survived and attached itself to a boy… a boy who came to be known as the 'Boy Who Lived.'"

Harry's eyes widened as he realized what Roy was hinting at. His heart felt heavier with every word. "That… that boy… is me," he said quietly.

Roy nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Exactly. That's why you've been having these dreams—they're echoes from the horcrux inside you. It isn't dangerous yet, but you must understand it to control it."

Harry's chest tightened. He instinctively reached for his quill and parchment. "I… I should write letters to my friends…"

Roy flicked his head dismissively. "Not necessary. They'll understand when the time comes. Go ahead, Harry, you're safe for now."

Harry exhaled in relief, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. "I was thinking… maybe I should write my will…"

Roy chuckled lightly, and even the portraits of previous Hogwarts principals on the walls chuckled with him. "A bit early for that, don't you think? You still have plenty of life to live—and battles to fight."

Harry laughed, a little nervously. Then Roy leaned forward, his gaze firm. "Now, I want you to go to Professor Snape. I've sent word. He will train you in Occlumency and Legilimency. Only he can teach you how to shield your mind properly."

Harry's eyes widened in alarm. "Anyone else… can't I learn from someone else?"

Roy shook his head, smirking knowingly. "No. I know you and Snape aren't exactly… friends. But that's exactly why he's the one you need. The snake is an expert in Occlumency. Only he can teach you to master your mind."

Harry hesitated but finally nodded reluctantly. "Alright… I'll do it."

"Good," Roy said. "Now go. And remember, control is everything. The mind is as powerful as any wand."

Harry stood, bowed slightly, and left the office, a mix of anxiety and determination on his face.

Roy watched him go, the faintest smirk forming. "Let's see how fast you can catch up, boy who lived."
