Chapter 270 - Chapter 267

Voldemort's crimson eyes glinted with fury as he pored over the Daily Prophet and Wizard Weekly. Headlines screamed about the leaks regarding the Veylorn family—details of their darkest secrets, their manipulations, and the growing suspicion of their connection to the mastermind behind Voldemort's own rise.

"This insolent boy… who taught me the secrets I sought, now dares to defy me from beyond his grave!" Voldemort hissed, his snake-like nostrils flaring. The memories of his teacher—the one who had imparted forbidden knowledge, whose lessons had allowed him to ascend so far—twisted into anger. "He will pay."

Voldemort's gaze swept the room of assembled Death Eaters, his voice cold and commanding:"Find every hidden record of the Veylorn family that has not been revealed. Dig into Gringotts vaults across England, find their untold wealth, their secrets, their history! I want the truth about their dark dealings—everything hidden from the wizarding world."

The Death Eaters bowed in unison. Among them, Lucius Malfoy stepped forward. He had taken the task seriously and spent days combing through archives, both magical and mundane, as well as Gringotts' records of the Veylorn family. He returned with meticulously gathered reports—traces of forbidden magic, secret inheritances, and hidden vaults.

Lucius presented his findings to Voldemort, his gloved hand trembling slightly under the pressure. "My Lord, I have investigated thoroughly. These are the recent actions, secret holdings, and covered histories of the Veylorn House. I have also traced their vaults in Gringotts Bank in England."

Voldemort's cold gaze pierced through Lucius. "Excellent. You have done well… this is the beginning." His lips curled into a serpentine smile as he summoned the key figures who would act immediately.

From the shadows emerged Lord Nott—the current head of the Nott family, brother of the deceased previous Lord Nott—and Lord Parkinson, uncle to Pansy Parkinson, whose father and previous head had passed. Voldemort's eyes gleamed dangerously.

"You," he hissed, "will assist in recovering any secrets, artifacts, or vaults connected to the Veylorn House. Leave nothing undiscovered. If this Cassian Veylorn has any remaining pieces hidden from the world, I will have them, and I will crush anyone who stands in my way."

Lord Nott and Lord Parkinson both bowed deeply, a flicker of fear and respect in their eyes. "Yes, my Lord," they said in unison, understanding that failure was not an option.

Voldemort's gaze then shifted back to the reports. "Every trace, every relic, every whisper of dark magic must be found. And when we do, the wizarding world will see the true power of the Veylorn lineage… and my mastery over it."

A tense silence filled the room as the Death Eaters prepared to carry out their dark mission. Voldemort's rage, fueled by Cassian Veylorn's manipulations and Roy's interference, hung like a storm over the wizarding world, threatening to shake every shadow in the magical community.
