Chapter 4 - A moment to remember everything literaly

The voice gradually led him some place above the mystical pool which was millions of Kilometers in diameter if he could estimate with his eyes.

We are going to some place only you know it's name by the way here you have no internal thoughts.

"So you ca read my thoughts," he didn't know what to make of a situation where he had no privacy "good to know."

After a while of travelling at the time he would get to know past lightspeed they arrived at a glowing door adorned with cosmic patterns catching him in a spell beckoning him to enter.

"Hopelys I don't know what this place is."

Trust me the flame of recollection will blaze much later for now go in.

The ball floated inside the door stepping into a library filled with infinite shelves each housing infinite books. He was awestruck, everything in Hopelys domain was magnificent from her celestial soul pool to the fancy library.

Yet as he floated further inward he felt more and more lonely by the moment as if he had just lost a part of his very being, a very strange feeling which he last experienced when he gained his original memories and realizing he lost everything.

Subconsciously he looked behind the closing doors staring at a place as if he finally knew where she was.

"What you're finally leaving me alone mother..." The mother part came by accident but it still felt right everything about Hopelys felt right, that was what concerned him.

Brighton if you truly wish to live again you have to read everything inside there only then will you be ready. I'll be back for you when you are ready to live again.

The door closed violently, he shook nervously in his crystal ball state, he had almost forgotten his old name.

"I really have a chance to go back to living...I don't want it I'll be too far away from mo..." He caught himself from the brainwashing Hopelys influence was too much for a soul to bear.

Still he looked around silently but phenotypically wondering where the bloody hell would he even begin.

"Well as they say a journey of ten thousand miles begins with a single step." He tried assuring himself to no avail it all looked so daunting, still he picked up a book and read it.

If one were to ask him what the bloody hell he read he would have no clue, each word evaporated to somewhere the moment they were read.

Life continued like this a monotonous hum of reading through books he did not even remember day after ay months after month and year after year.

So many a times he yearned to give up but he simply could not will himself to do so.

"Is life that important to me?" He posed to himself, over the countless years he had developed a horrible tendency to talk to himself "Of course not but if Hopelys can give me a chance to go back to Tennessee where my family is we would do anything, now get it together kid."

Initially he felt anger that was deeper than the Marianna trench for Viola for what she did to him, for getting w*t after doing it but overtime he started forgetting about her, in fact the entire continent of Laurasia meant nothing only a very subtle name in his gradually decreasing memory.

Memories of his old life in their stead started flooding in the faces of his parents his brother, his nieces, his cousins, his crushes, his bosses even the janitor who used to work at his old work place he remembered all vividly and missed them more and more as the more books he read.

Suddenly and just a instantaneous he dropped a book he was reading

"Are these my memories every waking micro second of both my existences?"

Though there was nobody to answer and no was to confirm nor deny he could feel it in his decrepit soul he was right beyond the measure of truth.

Soon enough he astonishingly finished reading all the books all 2,587,723,200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of them every single yoctosecond of his lives.

He could hardly bathe in his glory before the doors opened and Hopleys' hypnotic presence flooded the library.

Good now that you are ready lets get moving.

He rushed out of the library going out of the doors and arriving to where he assumed she was.

"Were those my memories?"

Yes they were.

"So do you store everyone's memories in magnificent libraries?"

No I don't there are only 25 of these in existence.

He didn't know what to make of it

Don't worry I also don't know why they are here what they are and why even I can't intrude.

"So you didn't create these things?"

Neither did any of my siblings but by the time we came to be they were there always 25.

"So how did you know this was mine?"

You told me you idiot, didn't you a long time ago... Silly me that hasn't happened yet to you.

He wanted to ask, but refrained he didn't know what she meant or if he wanted to know

Anyway I'm sorry I can't send you back to Earth you still have unfinished business to complete in the universe of Elgrandia.

"What unfinished business?"

You do not know of it but it knows of you and it is coming for you very zealously be wary and do not give in to it. Goodbye and good luck my brother.

"What did you just call me..." As he started to glow ready to disappear he glanced back and saw her figure and finally a hint of recognition a flame of memory hit him before he stopped he dared not look she was too brilliant. Hs mind stated sublimating.

None of your business, dear mortal you Baka.
