The urge to eliminate Natalia pulses through every fiber of my being. Dmitri shares this bloodthirsty desire, as do Krista and Collin. We all crave her destruction.
The moment I attempt to view her through the lens of motherhood, Dmitri snarls within my consciousness. She forfeited any maternal claim the instant she chose treachery over loyalty to Collin. In Dmitri's mind, she exists solely as Natalia now. For me, adjusting to this harsh reality will require several days of mental recalibration.
Collin's voice cuts through my dark thoughts. "Little One, shall we retreat to the Beta floor?"
