Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 – The Truth

After a few hours of a surprisingly good experience, it was almost morning. At 5:00 a.m., I heard a soft knock on my window. I couldn't open my eyes at first, and the knocking repeated insistently until I stirred awake.

It was 5:03 a.m. I rubbed my eyes and glanced at the window. There, standing before me, was a man in a sleek black outfit. He was tall—exactly my height, six feet—but muscular and imposing.

I dared not speak.

Then he bowed slightly and said:

"Greetings, my lord. I am your loyal right hand, and my name is… (name cannot be revealed yet)."

I had never heard that name before. Who even is this guy? And why is he calling me lord? I wondered. I had just arrived in this strange world, and everything happening around me was beyond comprehension.

"Who are you? And why are you here?" I finally managed to ask.

"I am the one you need to rule everything you desire," he replied calmly. "I am the Sword Demon, a magic‑art user of wind. I can convert the wind itself into my blade. And behind me…" He gestured subtly. "…are your soldiers, commanders, vice‑commanders, and servants. They have come to greet you upon your revival."

I could only blink. "Huh?" Panic surged. I didn't know him, didn't know this world, and yet here he was, speaking as if I were already a king. I asked him to leave, desperate for some peace.

Without hesitation, he said:

"It's fine, my lord. No one here can see us unless you wish them to. We are only visible to the one we serve—which is you."

I wasn't shocked. At this point, after everything I'd seen since arriving, nothing felt normal anymore. Somehow, I accepted it. And honestly, it was fascinating. I now commanded an army with elite soldiers, commanders, servants… and the Sword Demon himself.

Curiosity overtook me. "Tell me everything," I demanded.

He nodded, eyes serious. "We are the Army of Wrath, controlled only by our lord—you. There are seven commanders, fourteen vice‑commanders, and four loyal servants who watch over you. I am your right hand, Sword Demon. And you, lord Crish, are the ruler of your desires. We were born to serve you, and today that day has arrived. We pledge our lives to your command."

I could barely process it. Then I asked, almost shakily, "How many soldiers do you have?"

He replied, eyes unwavering:

"You mean I have, my lord? Yes. You command exactly ten thousand soldiers. They never truly die, for they are created from your own blood. Until you perish, no matter how many fall, they will regenerate. But today, only the highest-ranking and most loyal are present to greet you."

I gawked. Ten thousand soldiers… from my blood? Regeneration…?

It was unbelievable, yet thrilling.

I calmed down and asked more questions. "Why are you here? Who was serving before me? How did you know where I am?"

He answered swiftly:

"All these questions are relevant. A lot must be happening for you right now. We had been in deep sleep for a thousand years. You created us with your blood and told us to sleep until your return. And now that day has come—we exist to serve you."

I froze. Serve me… from inside my heart?

"Yes," he said, reading my thoughts. "We dwell within your heart through your magic. Even all ten thousand of us. Whenever you call, we will appear. But you have already built a kingdom ten times the size of where we rested. There, you are lord of all. You only need to say, Come forth, and we obey. Until then…"

I interrupted, flustered. "No, no, no! That's too creepy. Go back, all of you. And all this… greatest‑guy stuff… I don't even know magic!"

He smiled faintly, respectful yet firm.

"Indeed, you are at just one percent of your true power. But even at this level, you can perform this magic. You simply command Dismiss, and we return to sleep within your heart until needed."

I paused, then grinned. This is actually… amazing.

"I'll leave you in my heart for now," I said, trying to sound cool. "For now, I'll lead my army." I had read manga, watched anime… this felt like my debut as a true isekai lord.

He bowed deeply. "At your service, my lord."

I commanded, with a rush of exhilaration: "Dismiss."

In an instant, they vanished. Peace returned. I leapt back onto my bed, heart racing. Is this really my isekai debut? Yohooo, what a great time to live!

In my head, I chuckled: I am the lord. Obey me, you peasants.

It was only 6 a.m., far too early to wake fully, so I drifted back to sleep, dreaming of armies, swords, and the limitless power that awaited me.
