Chapter 11 - Chapter 10

In the quiet, peaceful village of Windmills, where pirates were rare visitors, a warship docked. For the locals, this was a common occurrence, a sign of the return of a sea hero. But this time, the ship was no ordinary one. On board, under the strict supervision of the naval forces, was Rodney himself, the future pirate king, with his obedient captives—pirates he kept under his thumb.

Harp's adjutant, Bogard, was ready to open fire on the pirate ship, but upon seeing Rodney, he held back his men.

"Adjutant Bogard," Rodney greeted, "I'm entrusting these pirates to you. Their hands are not clean."

Bogard nodded in greeting and ordered his men to arrest the pirates. They, realizing resistance was futile, complied, allowing the marines to take them to prison.

"Is this Vice Admiral Garp's grandson? You actually caught him?" Bogard asked in surprise, noticing Ace standing behind Rodney with a displeased expression.

"That guy eats as much as everyone else on the ship," Rodney replied, "I even hunted sea kings on the way here to compensate for his appetite."

"Where's Vice Admiral Garp?" Rodney asked. "I brought his eldest grandson."

"In the only tavern in the village," Bogard answered.

"Okay, Ace, let's go," Rodney said.

"No, I don't want to see that stinking old man!" Ace resisted, but the seastone cuffs restricted his movements.

"Are those seastone handcuffs? Could it be that Vice Admiral Garp's grandson also became a Devil Fruit user?" Bogard asked, looking intently at Rodney.

"Captain Smoker put a three million beli bounty on me," Rodney admitted sheepishly.

"No problem," Bogard smiled. "Canceling a bounty of less than ten million beli is very simple. I'll notify the authorities so they can remove the bounty from you. I didn't expect you to catch a Devil Fruit user."

"Haha, luck is luck," Rodney replied, setting Ace down on the ground. "I'll be leaving him in your care now."

- Ace? Isn't that Ace? - Everyone in the village recognized Ace.

"Excuse me, sir, could you tell me the way to the tavern?" Rodney asked the old man with the heart symbol on his shirt.

"Go from there, turn right, and the third house on the right is the tavern," the old man replied. "Why did you arrest him?"

"Arrested him? His grandfather asked me to," Rodney answered without thinking.

Ace, perched on Rodney's shoulder, exchanged a glance with the old man. He smiled, which made Ace uneasy. He had left Windmill Village with pride and ambition, but returned confused and humiliated.

"Hey! Rodney, let me go! I don't want to come back here!" Ace screamed, but Rodney ignored him. Every time Ace started talking, Rodney just stuffed his mouth with food.

"Click!" a hoarse voice sounded.

Garp woke up.

"No, I fell asleep," he muttered.

Looking at his sleeping grandson, Garp punched him again.

- How much longer are you going to sleep, Luffy?

"Ow! That hurts! Let me go!" Luffy protested weakly, revealing the profound psychological impact Garp had had on him since childhood.

"Smelly old man, let Luffy go!" Ace, weakened by the handcuffs, could only threaten Garp with his words.

"Sorry, Ace, I worked hard for my Rokushiki. After this, there won't be any hard feelings between us," Rodney assured him.

"Bastard! You tied me up! How can there be no hard feelings? As soon as I get free of these lousy handcuffs, I'll beat you!" Ace screamed, feeling a mixture of shame and anger.

"This is it, huh?" Rodney and Ace approached the tavern.

Garp's roar came from inside: "Luffy, you brat! How many times have I told you to join the Marines and become a great Marine? Eat my Iron Fist of Love!"

"Ow! That hurts so much! Grandpa!" A boy's cry, accompanied by a gentle female voice, came from the tavern. "Vice Admiral Garp, stop hitting him!" Luffy's face is swollen.

Hearing Luffy's face swell, Ace shouted, "Old man, stop hitting Luffy! Rodney, let me go! I want to protect Luffy!"

Rodney pushed open the tavern door, sat Ace down, and said to the old man behind the counter, "Vice Admiral Garp, I've brought the man you wanted. I'm leaving."

Makino, the tavern owner, seeing Ace, exclaimed, "Ace? Aren't you supposed to be at sea?"

"Ace?" The other tavern patrons also expressed surprise.

Garp and Luffy both turned their attention to Ace. Garp was delighted, while Luffy was shocked.

- Hahaha! Well done, Rodney boy! You did a great job!

"Want to join the Marines and come with me?" Garp laughed, looking at Ace, still bound in ropes. He was clearly pleased with Rodney's work.

While Garp was laughing, the system notified Rodney of the successful completion of the quest. 800 quest points, the Exalted Flame of Destroyer, and the Sharingan were credited to his account.

Suddenly, a special chakra began to gather in Rodney's eyes, causing an unpleasant sensation. He involuntarily rubbed them, causing them to turn red. Three black tomoe slowly rotated around his pupils, giving them an ominous appearance. Garp, taken aback, asked:

- Rodney boy, what's wrong with your eyes?

"Nothing. Sometimes my eyes get like that," Rodney replied, hiding his acquisition of the Sharingan from Garp.

The world around him seemed transformed. Everything seemed incredibly slow in his eyes. Despite not being an Uchiha, thanks to the system, he had easily integrated the Sharingan into his personality. However, he had yet to get used to this slow-motion world, which he now perceived through his new eyes.

"I have a Devil Fruit too!" Luffy yelled, breaking free from Garp's grasp when he saw Ace tied up. His hand extended like a rubber pistol and struck Rodney with lightning speed.

To Rodney, Luffy's attack seemed to be in slow motion. He deftly dodged, grabbed Luffy by the arm, and threw him out of the tavern.

It all happened in the blink of an eye thanks to Rodney's enhanced vision.
