Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: 4th-Conclusion

Having set yet another goal, IT planned on creating the environment and then placing the beings that would be able to inhabit that place afterwards. This is due to the fact that with each of the "Entities"– with their own free will, would be doing random things that may hinder IT during the process of creating the environment but in a different way.

Now then, cease.

With a mere "Thought", the countless "Entities" that spread throughout the "Void" disappeared without a single trace, it was as if they never existed at all.

The "Void" that was once filled with countless life floating all around it as if they were fireflies flying all arojnd late at night, the acoustic noises that sounded like a requiem performance by an orchestra, and vibrant colours that illuminated the eternal darkness that is the "Void", all of that was gone. Reduced to nothing.

The only thing that remained was IT. Just like how it was in the beginning, IT was once again, alone. However, things were much different from back then. Yes, this time, being alone a choice IT made itself.

"Now that that's done, I'll create an environment within the void that the entities will inhabit. The void has an infinite space filled with nothing. Which had me thinking, what would happen if I took that infinite space? Can one remove infinite from infinity?"

IT contemplated all sorts of things. Even though IT could just look into the countless possibilities to found the answer, IT chose to things this way as they were much more entertaining for IT. Knowing everything before it happened became tedious to the point where it became irritating.

"Does infinite mean that A: 'The size increases without stopping' or B: 'The size is capped at endless?' If so, does that mean that I can remove an infinite amount of space from the void, store it elsewhere and still have an infinite amount of space in the void simply because the space is infinitely expanding or it is capped at endless."

IT continued to ponder more and more, trying to come to a reasonably sound conclusion. Although it may seem unnecessary or even tedious– after all, finding the answer would be an easy task for IT. IT would much rather do things this way at least, every now and then.

It sounds contradictory because endless also means infinite so technically, it's not capped nor can be describes as such. This whole notion makes no sense whatsoever but at the same time, it does. Regardless, there's only one way to find out.

The thought process occurred instantly, and a conclusion was reached. Thus, IT gathered an infinite amount of space from the "Void" and formed a sphere with that energy and thus, IT "Created" a new "WhiteVoid" within the already existing "Void".

"The "Void" embodies "Nothing" and will henceforth be known as "Nihility" and the "WhiteVoid" embodies "Everything" and will be known as "Existence". IT said, looking a pure white sphere no bigger that IT was.

Although the sphere looked small at first glance, it actually contained an infinite amount of space within it.

The "WhiteVoid" had an infinite space within it and the "Void" still contained an infinite space as well. Looking at it, one might think that the "Void" was never touched at all. The reason for this was because aside from IT, nothing existed within the "Void".

Concepts such as "Logic" or "Sence" also didn't exist, so whether the result was option A or option B was irrelevant. The "Void" is not bound by "Anything" as there isn't "Anything" to bind it in the first place, with the sole exception of IT of course.

The same thing goes for IT. The only thing that can bind or limit IT, was IT itself. However, IT can fully control both the "Void" and the "WhiteVoid" with ease.

Trying to make sense of "Nothing" is impossible because there is nothing to make sense of in the first place. One can only comprehend that "Nothing" means "Lacking" of "Anything" and "Everything".

Which also explains why IT is able to do anything and everything IT wants, because IT is the only thing that "Exists" in the "Void" and thus IT is able to make "Something" from "Nothing". This is also why IT can take an infinite space from infinity, store that infinite space elsewhere and still having an infinite space left form where IT took it originally.

"As expected, didn't matter if it was option A or option B, the same results still occurred. Now its time to bid farewell to this dark void." IT said as it left the "Void" and traveled into the "WhiteVoid ".

The movement was instantaneous. Like a light bulb switching off in one room and turning on in another different room.

The "WhiteVoid" or "Existence" to be more specific was a pure white space that stretched infinitely omnidirectionally making it a direct contrast to the darkness of the "Void" or "Nihility".

IT entered the "WhiteVoid" and was welcomed by a pure white space that shone endlessly.

"I can't decide whether this is better than before or not but, it's a nice change of scenery so there's that." IT said looking around the scene in front of IT.

It was a nice change of pass from the usual darkness that spread all across the "Void".

"I'll start by creating a "Barrier" to separate "Nihility" from "Existence" so that they don't interfere with one another."

"Nihility" which embodies "Nothing" and "Existence" which embodies "Everything" will disrupt each other and may end up cancelling each other out if ever they interacted. Since both of the voids have infinite space and are opposite attributes, they would nullify each other.

Like water and oil, the two voids must never collide as they do not go along well together. To be more precise, when two equal numbers with opposite signs are added, they cancel each other out.

But the result of the two voids colliding was of no interest to IT, rather it was something that must never occur in the first place as it would destroy the effort IT had put into creating everything, even if one can somehow forcefully mix water and oil, nothing good would come out of it, so there's no point in doing it in the first place.

Of course, IT could just remake everything again but to IT, there's no point in letting everything get destroyed just to be recreated again the same way.

One doesn't build a house, tear it down only to build it up again exactly the same way, even if they could somehow do it in a day. There would be no point in doing so.

Much like IT had done before, IT could destroy everything in an instant without so much as a regret if it served a greater purpose– like making a better product than the prototype. And that is exactly what IT is currently doing or already did.

For IT, there was no reason not to annihilate everything to make something even greater than the original. The annihilation process may seem unnecessary but, by IT's standard, there was no need to keep something that no longer served a purpose.

IT just didn't feel like keeping trophies of IT's past accomplishments. Perhaps the real reason was because IT thought of them as failures instead of trophies, or maybe IT just couldn't be bothered and didn't think too deeply about any of that. Either way, that's how it went down.

Thus, IT would create the barrier needed to separate the two voids before IT starts the actual work.
