I watched as Jaxon took Aria away, and I couldn't help but sulk in my anger.
Even though I had planned to stand up to him and show him how I felt, it just wasn't working at all. Everything was just getting worse. He seemed to be getting even more braver than he usually used to.
He was having so much guts suddenly, and I did not like that at all; it was just so annoying.
Maya rushed towards me as she entangled her hands with mine.
"I do not know why you would never hear. One thing: Aria would always take you as nothing but her best friend. didn't you see how she just reacted? She is even stunned you dare think to that extent," Meyer said.
Even though she was very much right, I did not want to believe her. I was not ready to believe she was right because I knew that somewhere in Aria's heart, she still cared and loved me wholeheartedly.
