The woman looked at Ye Hua with pity before sighing, "Oh sweety, you went somewhere and got run over by a carriage. Thankfully, your body is still in shape, however…Seeing that you now don't remember your memories, it seems that you hit your head in the process."
"Wait a minute, please stop. What do you mean I got run over? "
"Ah…well, from what your guard had reported…you went on a walk; after that, you were found lying on the ground, bloodied from wounds."
"I swear that we'll find the culprit! I promised you that! "
Haa…great. What a life.
After she said that, Ye Hua started to notice what the scenery was like. He was lying on a bed; however, it wasn't like any normal bed from the 21st century. It looked like it was from ancient China. Ye Hua observed the room, from walls to windows, and saw that this wasn't the 21st century at all, from clothing to the place that Ye Hua was lying on…
Was I teleported back in time?! Shit. This can't be happening.
Ye Hua dozed off a bit, still shocked by the current situation he's in. After he collected himself, forcing his mind to come back to his senses. After a short pause he looked at the middle-aged woman. "Sorry, I feel lightheaded; it seems that I'm still quite weak. I would like to be left alone for a while."
The woman sighed in reluctance, looking at her pitiful son, who looked like a tired, crippled mess. She then nodded and stood up to leave.
After his mother left the room, Ye Hua was in deep thought. He was trying to understand the current situation. As a child, Ye Hua had done some ancient Chinese-inspired art, though it was merely a hobby. He had recognized some of the interior of the current room he's in.
"Did I really reincarnate? If so, how could I be in the past!? This is bullshit."
Ye Hua muttered silently, trying not to cause any unwanted commotion. He always thought that reincarnation was not true and always believed it was just false.
If this were indeed true, then that must mean I died… HA! Why would I die in my sleep? Last I checked, I was the epitome of healthy! Haha…I must be going crazy.
Shouldn't I be born a new child? Or have I reincarnated before and switched with this "past" body? What the hell am I thinking? This isn't a novel!
Just what the hell is happening? I must be dreaming… I can just wake up and it'll just turn everything back to normal.
Ye Hua was thinking hard till someone came. He snapped out of his deep thoughts and pretended to sleep.

Quiet footsteps could be heard approaching Ye Hua's room. The person who seemed to be walking towards the front of his door sounded elegant, like the atmosphere shifted to a relaxed ripple of water. However, this feeling was quickly interrupted by the sound of another person. The sound of the footsteps stopped as they reached to open Ye Hua's door.
"Be quiet, Ye Hua is still resting."
Ye Hua recognized the voice, and it was the woman who claimed to be his mother, but who the hell is the other person?
A while later an unfamiliar voice spoke; it was more like a whisper, however, it was loud enough for Ye Hua to hear.
"Does he really not remember anything at all?"
At that moment, Ye Hua slowly sat up from his bed pretending to wake up.
"Ah, my son, you're awake. Did we wake you up?"
"We're sorry if we bothered yo—"
Ye Hua couldn't help but interrupt, "I'm sorry…Uh, who is she? "
His mother looked at Ye Hua with the same pitiful look she had; she sighed and then slowly explained, "Child, she is your sister."
Ye Hua's eyes widened as he heard the middle-aged woman's voice, "Right…I have a sister. Of course…"
Hah. Yeah, of course I have a sister. What the actual hell? Fuck. I'm an only child, though? How the hell am I supposed to treat them? Why am I even thinking about that anyway? I'm just fucking dreaming.
His sister frowned at his reaction; she stared at him as if she were expecting some kind of follow-up. She then scoffed and narrowed her eyes when Ye Hua did not speak any further. Ye Hua then looked at her, opening then closing his mouth as he could not find the right words to say.
"Uhm… Greetings, Sister? " She scoffed, and it was obvious that she was displeased. It was clear that she wasn't thinking of this seriously; however, as soon as she saw no change in Ye Hua's expression, she quickly realized that he wasn't faking anything. Ye Hua had really forgotten his memories, or at least she thought he did.
After realizing, she slowly smiled at him softly. Not knowing what to say, she could only look at him with a concerned expression. Although she kept a smile, it was clear to Ye Hua that she was quite unhappy to hear that her beloved brother really has forgotten his memories.
"I see…I didn't think you'd actually forget me, brother."
How the hell am I supposed to know?! I'm not this Ye Hua you speak of—Well, technically we have the same name, so I am, but still! Does it even work that way?!
Ye Hua frowned at her statement. "I apologize."
Although she knows that he has forgotten his memories, she seemed disappointed. She recalled the times she was with her younger brother playing together happily. Ye Hua and she always had a great bond together; after all, he was her favorite brother.
"Do you really not remember anything about me at all, brother? "
I really don't know who you are, Miss, I mean. I don't even know who I am.
"I apologize; I really don't recall anything."
His sister looked at her, slightly frowning; she sighed, not knowing what to do. Before she could open her mouth again, their mother spoke, "Actually, Ye Hua, you have two siblings..."
Ye Hua's eyes widened again. He stared at the middle-aged woman, mumbling a
"What?"
