Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Small Miracles

One day, I came home from the market with nothing but a handful of coins.

The prices had gone up again, and I felt the sting of helplessness.

That night, we had only garri and water for dinner — yet my children laughed, turning the meal into a feast.

The next morning, a woman I barely knew came to my stall and said, "God told me to bless you."

She handed me a small envelope. Inside was just enough money to restock and pay what we owed.

I sat behind my stall and cried, not from sorrow but awe.

That moment reminded me that God never forgets. He may not come when I call, but He is never late.

Never doubt a small miracle — it might be heaven's way of saying, "I see you."

The same God who multiplies loaves can turn your garri into abundance.
