"I'm sorry Director Hunt, President Hunt is not in his office..... he's out for his meetings"Draken's secretary reported.
"That brat, he's always out doing something when I need to talk to him"David whispered to himself.
Like he had anything urgent to tell him other than just try to argue with him.
He went back into the elevator and as soon as the doors closed, he heard the shocking news on the small monitor.
"Breaking news, the multi billion mansion that belonged to the Dave family burnt down, according to the on lookers, there's nothing but ashes and damage beyond repair....the question is, was it an accident? Intentional? Who burnt down the multi billion mansion?"
"Sam's house burnt down?"David asked himself.
Every after one incident that hadn't even cooled down yet, another one came up.
The city was still buzzing about the grand expensive wedding of Draken and Emma Hunt that happened not too long ago, his own wedding that failed to push through, the changing owners of Dave Corp.....and now this?
The two families were just full of nothing but drama. Their lives were like a ruckus now.
David immediately worried about Sam, what state she was in at the moment, he knew how much she loved and cherished that place.
He tried calling her but his calls weren't going through. Her mom's phone was also not available....and he didn't have her father's contact.
He had no other choice but to go to Dave Corp, where he expected to find her.
OUTSIDE DAVE CORP...
"Boss, do you really think that woman will take the blame and not betray us?" Erick asked.
They were just outside the Dave Corp building, in his car.... where there were multiple reporters who'd come to get a statement from Emma about their Mansion burning down.
The reporters were still held outside by security and not allowed to enter.
"If she knows what's best for her and still values her life, she'll do everything I tell her to"Draken replied.
He wanted the media off his wife's back...the only way was to use another Dave to take the blame.
"Shaun told me that Ms Sam came to see Mrs Emma.....she caused a scene, but Mrs Emma still let her in"Erick said.
"I know my wife can handle herself now...she doesn't need me to shut Sam up permanently when she can do it herself"Draken replied.
"It's time, let her come out" Draken ordered his other men through the phone.
Sera Dave was in another car behind his....escorted by Draken's armed men, she made her way to the entrance where the reporters were.
"Mrs Dave, do you have anything to say about your mansion burning down?"
"Do you know who did this and why?"
"Was it an accident? Or intentional?"
"Please make a statement...."
Multiple reporters swarmed her with different questions.
"I have an announcement to make just let me speak" she simply replied and all the reporters kept quiet and waited for her statement.
"I...I was the one who burnt down the mansion because I was tired of it....no one else but me is to blame, it was my house so I chose to do whatever I wanted with it"she firmly stated.
"What! She burnt down her own house?"
"You heard it yourselves, Sera Dave burnt down the multi billion mansion"
"Was this her way of retaliating since her daughter didn't get married to Draken Hunt, but her step daughter did instead?"
"Was this her way of revenge for losing Dave Corp to her step daughter!"
The reporters begun to whisper amongst themselves. The news was live and Sera Dave begun trending immediately.
"No more comments please and no further questions"
Meanwhile.....
INSIDE DAVE CORP....
"I know I've done so many wrong things to you, but we're still sisters...I'm still your little sister..."Sam continued to plead with Emma.
"Even if you beg, Sam.....I won't do anything to help you. You abandoned me, I'm not your beloved sister anymore"Emma replied.
Right after that short conversation they had, Emma's assistant Joyce rushed in.
"President Hunt, forgive me for burning in like this...but you have to see this"she worriedly said.
Emma saw the news of what was happening just outside her company.
"Sera Dave confessed to burning down the multi billion Dave mansion...."
She still couldn't believe it. Why did Sera Dave confess to something that she and her husband clearly did?
"What!! My mom's the one who burnt down our house?" Sam asked herself.
"And a while back you were blaming me, and couldn't suspect anyone else, yet....it's your own mother"Emma said.
"Impossible! She loved that house more than anything....she wouldn't do that"Sam tried to defend her.
"It doesn't matter what you think, she's already trending...it seems she has more wealth to burn down a mansion worth billions"Emma said sarcasticly, as she sat back down on her seat.
"So please...leave now, I have so much work to do and your presence is not helping"Emma added, implying she should leave.
"And don't worry, I won't file a case against your mom for burning my house down"
Her patience was growing thin.
Sera Dave's confession was unexpected but as long as her confession came with clearing her name, her husband wouldn't be dragged into her mess.
That was all she cared about.
"Fine, I'll go. I'll leave Emma....but this is not the end of it."Sam said before she furiously stormed out of her office.
"President Hunt, I'm still sorry about letting her come into your office without your permission..."Joyce apologized.
"Assistant Joyce, it wasn't your fault...even if you didn't let her in, I'd still face her again in the end"Emma replied.
Emma wasn't worried about herself. She worried more about Draken who'd been there for her and did everything to help her.
Even in the times when it should have been her family there, it was always him who put everything aside just for her and helped her first.
He was now her only family, the only person she cared for most....just like he cared for her before.

"What do you mean by jail.... that house was very expensive...I'd make her pay every single dime to the last one"
The employees in the company were gossiping amongst themselves.
Meanwhile, Draken who was going to surprise his wife at her office came face to face with David in the underground parking lot.
"What the hell do you think you're doing here David?"Draken coldly asked.
David's presence in his wife's company was threatening.
"I came to see Sam...that's all"David replied.
"Your fianceé no longer works here, so you can leave"Draken said.
"Even if it's not Sam, I can still greet my new sister in law.... she's family, right?"David replied.
"David, stop testing my patience....I'll say this once.....stay the hell away from my wife."Draken said, his voice colder than ice.
He knew his brother well, if he wanted to get back at him, he'd go after Emma.
She was his only weakness.
His weak spot.
He had plenty reasons to. Draken despised him, and everything he'd done so far was twice what he did to him.
Taking Ouracle from him, stopong his wedding, threatening his life not once or twice..... treating him like he meant nothing....and still that wasn't enough.
He still wanted to do more to make him suffer.
"Relax, I won't do anything to her.....you already threatened my life....I wouldn't want to go on your bad side again"David replied.
Draken didn't reply anything, instead.....he walked passed him and left him hanging like he always did.
Like an idiot...even though he was the older brother.
"That's right, walk away like you always do!"David thought to himself.
"David?...."Sam's voice sounded through his ears.
"Sam....I heard what happened and came to see you....."David said.
"Why's everything going wrong.....is my life only full of bad luck now..."Sam wore a pitiful expression on her face.
What she was going through at the moment, happened with Emma a long time back.
The pain she felt at the moment was nothing compared to the pain Emma felt at that time.
She asked questions that no one could answer....not even David...her fiancé.
Meanwhile.....
"President Hunt, someone's here to see you" Joyce informed Emma who was so busy in her files.
"Who is it?"Emma asked without taking her eyes off the files in front of her.
Draken not wanting to announce his presence.... quietly walked over to her desk, stood behind her and covered her eyes.
"Draken, I know it's you...."Emma whispered.
She could tell it was him just by his touch....she knew him better than anyone else.
"What are you doing here shouldn't you be at work?"Emma asked.
"I came to surprise you, I wanted to see you...."Draken replied.
A surprise!....A pleasant surprise indeed.
