Chapter 82 - Chapter Seventy-Eight: Creepy Uncle Or a trap

"My uncle isn't creepy. And why would he kidnap his own daughter—or take smut pictures of his niece? Plus… where would he even get a Den Den Mushi?"

"He probably used a camera dial," Noah said.

"What's that?" Amy asked.

"It's a dial that can take pictures," Noah explained, "but they're only found in Skypiea. I don't think your uncle has ever been to the sky."

"He doesn't need to," Emma said, holding her chin. "Merchants from all over probably dock here. He might be able to get one if he's lucky."

"You're right," Noah replied.

Then he noticed a shadow moving at the window.

Without a word, Noah unsheathed his sword in a flash and slashed at the glass.

Bam.

The entire wall shattered.

"What did you do that for?!" Amy asked, shocked.

"Someone was listening. Enough chit-chat. Let's go," Noah said.

Vector Manipulation — Flying Thunder God.

Blip.

In an instant, they appeared on the deck of the Scarlett Horizon.

"Welcome to my ship," Noah said with a grin.

"Wow," Amy said, her eyes sparkling. "Your ship is beautiful, Noah."

Noah grinned, his cheeks slightly turned pink.

Suddenly, the air around them grew tense with killing intent.

"It seems like they were waiting for us to get back to the ship," Emma said, drawing her blades.

The sky darkened ominously.

"Look! Something's falling towards us!" Amy shouted.

Whoosh.

An arrow landed right at her feet.

Emma looked up. "You've got to be kidding me."

Thousands of arrows rained down from above.

Noah unsheathed his sword and swung.

Vector Manipulation — Screams of the God Slayer.

Every single arrow was destroyed in an instant.

"Charge!" a voice shouted.

Hundreds of pirates and town guards rushed toward the Scarlett Horizon.

Noah leapt off the ship. "I won't let you put a scratch on my ship!"

Emma slowly stepped down after him, Amy following closely.

"Are you sure you want to fight?" Emma asked Amy.

Amy nodded firmly.

"Okay then," Noah said. "Amy, think of this as a recruit test. I want you to fight everyone here by yourself."

"That's crazy," Emma said, shaking her head at her "crazy captain."

"I'll fight them, but I'm not joining your crew," Amy replied.

Noah smiled. "Good. Then show us your martial arts skills."

Pirates and guards rushed forward, weapons raised.

Amy takes a stance, her fists clenched. "Let's do this."

The first guard swings his sword at her head. Amy ducked and elbowed him smashing into his ribs.

Crack!

He fell to the ground, gasping.

A pirate rushed from behind. Amy spins low and swept his foot off the ground, he falls on his back.

She rolled forward, landing a high kick to one pirate's face, then followed with a low kick to the other's legs.

Both screamed out in pain.

A pirate swung a dagger at her. She grabbed his arm and twisted it.

Crack!

He screamed and fell to the ground.

Three men tried to surround her. Amy leapt over one guard and kicked him in the back.

Two attacked her at the same time. She dodged and drove her knee into one's face. His nose started to bleed. She headbutted him, and he dropped to the ground, unconscious.

She punched the other in the face, smashing his jaw. One of his teeth flew out, blood dripping from his mouth.

Noah smiled, excitement shining in his eyes.

Emma stepped back. "She's… incredible."

A large captain swung a club. Amy ducked under the attack and kicked his knee hard.

Crack! His knee bone shattered.

"Ouch!" Emma said, covering her eyes.

A pirate suddenly sneaked up and grabbed her from behind. Amy slammed her elbow into his face.

She struck him again and again.

He dropped to the ground, unconscious.

A smaller pirate ran at her with a dagger. Amy dodged then grab his arm and twisted it until it dislocated.

She tossed him aside.

Amy leapt into the air, kicking two pirates at once. Both hit the sand, groaning.

Suddenly, a clap echoed across the beach.

"That enough," Noah said.

"Wait, don't you want me to keep fighting?" Amy asked.

"It's okay. I've seen enough." Noah replied.

Noah walked over to Amy. Hundreds of men still surrounding them.

He patted her on the shoulder. "Go stand with Emma over there. Now it's my turn."
