Chapter 90 - Wish

Parallel World.

Honkai World No. 2.

Siegfried took K-423 and little Kiana, hijacked a transport aircraft, and fled from Schicksal Headquarters.

During their flight, the transport aircraft was struck by a missile fired from Schicksal's pursuing fighter jets, causing a massive explosion in midair.

Originally, the plot should have gone as it once did—where the transport was merely damaged, and little Kiana fell from ten thousand meters. But due to the mysterious interference of a certain power, everything changed.

Otto of Schicksal watched on his screen as the exploding transport plummeted from the sky. The smile on his face froze.

How did it explode!?

You can't die! Not you two!

"Go to the crash site immediately. Find K-423 and Kiana."

Otto issued his order.

As for Siegfried, he didn't care. That Kaslana man was stubbornly hard to kill—he wouldn't die so easily.

Besides, Otto had long wanted him dead anyway.

If he died, so be it.

But K-423 could not die.

In a vast white space, little Kiana, K-423, and the Herrscher of the Void were all in a dazed, confused state.

Where is this place!?

The Herrscher of the Void was the first to react. This space looked just like the place where she had once met God. She became excited. "God, is that you!?"

A violet rift appeared in the white space. A delicate foot stepped out, followed by a young girl in a flowing purple gown with a glowing purple halo behind her. She emerged from the crack.

The Herrscher of the Void stared at the girl who looked almost identical to herself and asked in delight, "God, is that you?"

Before, God had also taken the same white humanoid form as her.

Sirin floated above them, gazing down at the three white-haired girls below. Her eyes paused on the Herrscher of the Void.

Their gazes met.

The Herrscher of the Void immediately realized—this one wasn't the God she had seen before!

God never displayed emotions.

"Who are you?" the Herrscher of the Void demanded, stepping back cautiously.

Sirin's lips curved into a faint smile. "Why don't you guess who I am?"

"..."

The Herrscher of the Void frowned. There was something strangely familiar about her.

"Pretty lady, are we... already dead?" little Kiana asked.

She remembered—the transport exploded, and when she opened her eyes again, she was here.

"You're quite smart. Yes, you're all dead," Sirin said with a smile.

"Then... my dad, is he alright!?"

"That man is fine."

"Oh, that's great."

Little Kiana let out a breath of relief. She accepted her own death with surprising calmness.

When she died, there was no pain—just closed her eyes, opened them again, and found herself here.

But thinking about never seeing her father again made her heart ache.

She turned to look at the Herrscher of the Void and K-423, who had come here with her.

Huh?

Why do I have... another little sister!?

It was only then that little Kiana realized—she had gained an extra sister!

She looked toward the Herrscher of the Void.

The latter frowned. "What are you looking at me for?"

Hearing that, little Kiana turned to K-423 instead.

Mm! Those clear eyes—that's definitely my sister!

"I'm sorry, little sister. I couldn't protect you," little Kiana said guiltily. As an older sister, she had failed to keep her sibling safe—and even caused her death.

If only she hadn't taken her sister along when fleeing Schicksal Headquarters!

Maybe she wouldn't have died together with her.

K-423 didn't know what to say. Even now, she still couldn't understand what had happened.

The Herrscher of the Void felt conflicted upon hearing little Kiana's words. She looked up at the floating Sirin.

"You said we're dead. Then why did you bring us here? What do you want?"

"And who exactly are you?" the Herrscher asked in a low tone.

"Haven't you already guessed?"

Sirin smiled faintly.

"You're me."

"You are you, and I am me. But if you say I am you, that's not entirely wrong," Sirin introduced herself. "My name is Sirin. I come from another world."

The Herrscher of the Void was utterly confused.

But one thing she did understand—

This person was herself from another world.

And she seemed to be an incredibly powerful version of herself.

"Hey, would you like to make a contract with me? In exchange, I can grant you one wish."

"Grant a wish? Are you serious?" The Herrscher of the Void remained skeptical.

After a moment's thought, she said, "Since you're me, can you help me kill all humans?"

"What?" Little Kiana cried out in shock.

What did her sister just say—kill all humans? Why?

"Kill all humans? That, I can't do," Sirin shook her head.

"Can't, or won't?" The Herrscher of the Void wanted to know whether this Sirin from another world was the same as her.

"Can't. Erasing all of humanity isn't possible—'humanity' as a concept spans the infinite multiverse and infinite worlds. If you only meant the ordinary humans on your planet, that I can do."

Sirin raised her hand and snapped her fingers. The ordinary humans on the parallel Earth were erased by a mysterious power.

She covered the entire solar system with a reality distortion field, combining it with ether editing and magical constructs—she could do as she pleased.

Even the Cocoon of Finality was under her control through a derivative of her will.

A surge of memory appeared in the minds of the Herrscher of the Void, K-423, and little Kiana—images of the ordinary humans on the blue planet vanishing, their bodies erased by an unknown power.

...

"?"

That easily... humanity was gone?

The Herrscher of the Void couldn't quite believe it.

"You... you really killed them all?"

"Is there a problem? Wasn't that your wish?" Sirin tilted her head innocently.

"..."

For the first time, the Herrscher of the Void found herself terrifying.

"All humans are dead? Then... my dad..." Little Kiana froze.

"Your father isn't dead. I spared him. He doesn't count as an ordinary human, so he's outside the wish's range."

Should I... thank you for that?

Little Kiana's eyes toward Sirin changed.

Her previous impression of Sirin shifted in that instant.

Demon.

...

In Honkai World No. 2—

Schicksal, Anti-Entropy, and the remnants of World Serpent were all shaken to the core.

What the hell!

The entire world's population—gone, in an instant.

In Anti-Entropy's base, Tesla sat before the main control computer, double-checking the global situation.

"Hey, chicken-head, have you found out what caused humanity's disappearance yet?" she barked.

Einstein frowned as she examined the incoming data. "There's been an unexplained electromagnetic reaction across the entire world."

"Then where did all those people go?" Tesla snapped impatiently.

Einstein was silent for a moment, then said softly, "They were erased."

"What did you just say!?"

Tesla shot up from her chair in disbelief.

Billions of people—gone, just like that!

...

At Schicksal Headquarters—

Otto frowned deeply. Some unknown power—beyond his comprehension—had descended upon the solar system.

Most of humanity had been wiped out in an instant, with only a small fraction remaining.

...

At World Serpent—

Gray Serpent watched as the once bustling cities became instantly empty. Red light flickered in his eyes.

This power... it didn't come from the Cocoon of Finality.
