Little Grasshopper has been published in simplified Chinese!
Since this book is launching to celebrate its 10th anniversary, and the publisher has been incredibly generous with their efforts, I've decided to write a bonus chapter to celebrate its reunion with everyone!
Shocking! I thought it would be hard to write anything new, and I expected to only write three or four thousand words, but I didn't expect to write 25,000 words as soon as I picked up the pen!
This little grasshopper is always so easy to handle. You don't even need to catch it; it just hops right up to your hand, chirping and hopping around, bright and noisy (even this postscript is noisy!). I'm so surprised this guy is still so energetic at ten years old! It's all thanks to my readers, both new and old, who occasionally remember to poke it a couple of times, so it rubs against me, reminding me: Don't forget me!
Of course I won't forget it.
This book is my first full-length work. It has many areas for improvement, but it represents all I could manage during my student years. I will always remember those days when I was frantically attending classes, terrified of failing, enduring harsh scolding from my driving instructor, and simultaneously sharing my stories and jokingly writing for my readers!
