Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 – Steel Fist Iron Fist! Crash!

Important moments are

"Power!"

Breaker jammed the activation stud on the gray Upgrade Key, but instead of releasing with a satisfying click, the key locked in place—sealed solid, as if welded to his palm.

"What the—? It won't eject!" he muttered, baffled.

Across the battlefield, Sabine froze. Her stomach dropped. She'd realized her mistake.

"Oh no… I gave him the wrong one!"

The key she had thrown wasn't the authorized Assault Wolf Key. It was the prototype known internally as Boxing Kong—stronger by far, but still unauthorized and unstable.

"Breaker, wait! Don't activate it! That model hasn't been cleared yet!"

She dug frantically through her belt pouches, searching for the correct key. But before she could find it, the Rhino Man finished annihilating the last Modia Units around him. He turned, snorting steam, eyes blazing red.

He needed something new to smash.

His gaze landed on Breaker and Wren.

"It's you!"

The ground trembled as the mutant kicked off like a charging tank, plumes of dust exploding from each step.

Sabine's heart lurched. "Too late!"

Breaker clenched his teeth. "Then I'll do this the hard way."

Every servo in his frame screamed as he forced raw power through his arm. He wrenched the jammed key, muscles and hydraulics twisting together.

"Open… for me!"

Crack!

The lock snapped.

For one stunned second even Wren forgot to breathe. "He forced the authorization by brute strength?!"

Back in his office, Levi actually laughed, delighted. "That's why they call him Breaker Rider! Even in a world ruled by code, he authorizes with his fists."

He leaned toward Izzy. "Record this. First field use of unauthorized key. Feed it into the database for analysis."

"Understood, President." Izzy's headpiece glowed as she began recording telemetry.

Levi folded his hands. "Let's see what the Boxing Kong Key can do."

---

On the ground, Breaker didn't hesitate. He slotted the unlocked key into the port of his Upgrade Key Device.

"Authorize!"

> [UPGRADE KEY ENGAGED – KAMEN RIDER MODE INITIALIZING]

The device's voice echoed like thunder through the smoky bar.

Breaker drew the weapon's twin handles together, took aim straight ahead, and shouted:

"Transform!"

Shot-Rise!

A blue projectile burst from the muzzle, spiraling into the air like a comet.

The Rhino Man lowered his horn, unimpressed. "Bullets? Pathetic!"

But the bullet didn't hit him. It curved upward, looping elegantly through the dark. Then it arced back—heading straight for Breaker.

Lady Viper, watching from the shadows, laughed aloud. "He's shooting himself? What a fool!"

Her laughter choked off when she saw what happened next.

Breaker punched the returning round head-on.

Boom!

The blue-white bullet shattered on impact, scattering into thousands of metallic shards that whirled around him like a cyclone. Sparks traced glowing runes through the smoke.

The shards converged, fusing and layering over his body.

Ka-ka-ka-ka!

In seconds, plates of cobalt and silver armor snapped into place across his frame. Pneumatic seals hissed; compressed steam vented from the joints.

When the storm cleared, a new figure stood where Breaker had been—a living weapon encased in titanium muscle.

---

"Boxing Kong Mode — Online.

Steel Fist and Iron Fist—Break the mountain, shatter the earth, advance without fear!**"

Energy pulsed through his gauntlets, glowing lines racing down to his knuckles. Each fist now weighed more than a small car. The air itself seemed to warp around the pressure of his stance.

Breaker had become a walking kinetic reactor.

Lady Viper's cigarette fell from her lips. "What… what are they?"

The technology radiating from him eclipsed anything she'd ever seen. "No way. Not S.H.I.E.L.D., not even Stark Industries…"

Her disbelief only deepened when Breaker rolled his shoulders and the floor cracked beneath him.

---

Across the room, the Rhino Man snorted and charged again, unwilling to be overshadowed.

"Fancy armor won't save you!"

Breaker met the charge head-on.

The two collided with a thunderous crash that shattered every window in the building. Shockwaves rippled outward, tossing debris through the air. Sparks cascaded from the ceiling fixtures as the whole bar seemed to convulse.

Levi's viewing screens vibrated from the feedback surge. He watched with growing excitement. "Splendid! Boxing Kong synchronization exceeding ninety percent!"

On the feed, Breaker drove his newly armored fist into the Rhino Man's gut. The impact cratered the floor, launching the brute backward through two pillars.

"Steel Fist Impact!" Breaker roared, following through with another blow. Each strike landed like a meteor, the armor amplifying his kinetic output exponentially.

Rhino Man coughed blood and laughter in equal measure. "Now this… this is a fight!"

He charged again; Breaker pivoted, countering with a spinning backfist that detonated a sonic boom. The bar's walls rippled as if struck by a bomb.

Even the reinforced support beams groaned.

---

Up above, Ark's data-feeds glowed crimson.

[Structural Integrity Warning – Building Collapse Risk 45%]

[Recommendation: Deploy Containment Field]

Levi only smiled wider. "Not yet. Let it play out."

Izzy frowned, worried. "At this rate the structure—"

"—will provide excellent test conditions," Levi finished. "Continue recording."

---

Breaker absorbed a hook that would have shattered tanks, sliding back only a step. "You hit hard," he admitted, voice metallic through the comms. "But I hit harder."

He slammed both fists together; shockwaves rolled down his arms like ripples of thunder. The steel gauntlets flared white-hot.

"Iron Fist Crash!"

He lunged, punching straight through the Rhino Man's defense. The blow connected with the creature's chest—a flash of blinding light, then a sound like thunder tearing the sky.

The giant was lifted off his feet and hurled across the bar, smashing through the far wall and into the alley beyond.

The explosion of dust and shattered brick painted the night in gray fire.

For a heartbeat, silence.

Then the Rhino Man groaned and pushed himself up, dented armor smoking. He was still alive—but barely.

Breaker's armor vents exhaled white steam; his fists glowed from the residual heat. "Round over."

He turned slightly toward Sabine and Wren, giving a thumbs-up. "Key's stable. Synchronization holding."

Sabine exhaled the breath she'd been holding. "You just physically authorized a prototype. You realize how insane that is?"

"Worked, didn't it?"

---

Lady Viper retreated toward a hidden stairwell, fury twisting her features. "They ruined my deal… but the night's not over."

She pulled a compact communicator from her belt. "Activate the contingency. Release the specimens."

Far below the building, sealed capsules hissed open one after another. Alarms began to pulse through Vanderbuilt's network feeds.

Ark's sensors caught it instantly.

> [Alert: Multiple Bio-Signatures Detected — Threat Level Rising]

[Project Malice: New Inputs Streaming]

Levi's expression turned razor-sharp. "So that's how she wants to play."

He clasped his hands behind his back and watched the rising readouts with cold fascination. "Very well, Lady Viper. Let's see what your 'specimens' can do against a Rider born from pure willpower."

---

On the street, the Rhino Man staggered to his feet, battered but grinning through cracked teeth. "Not bad… metal boy," he said, wiping the blood from his mouth. "But I'm still standing."

Breaker stepped through the hole in the wall, blue armor gleaming under the neon rain. "Then I'll just knock you down again."

Lightning flashed overhead.

Steel met flesh, armor met horn, hero met monster—each blow louder than thunder.

Inside Vanderbuilt HQ, Levi's pulse quickened as data streamed upward in endless red lines.

"Record it all, Izzy," he whispered. "This is the moment our world changes forever."
