Even though Ethan had offered to help Kyle move out of that house and start a new life, Kyle was still hesitant to accept the offer.
It wasn't just because he felt comfortable in that town and with the people there, but because he couldn't just walk away from his love. He was aware of his feelings for Arcane, but he was also aware of the reality that the man was married to someone else.
But as people always say, love is blind. And that made Kyle completely blind to the fact that he would certainly never be able to have him.
At school, during recess, he met Arcane as usual, who was sitting right next to his desk. Every now and then he watched the man grading his students' exams, while thinking about a few things.
'If I choose to follow Ethan and move to another city, does that mean I won't be able to see him anymore?' he thought at that moment.
