Julian slid relentlessly across the slippery ice. He was so panicked that he couldn't stop himself. Added to that was the appearance of a little girl standing in front of him.
"Move! Move out of the way!" he shouted, not wanting to hit her.
The girl turned and froze in place, shocked by Julian sliding towards her. Arcane, who saw this from a distance, immediately tried to chase after Julian and grab him.
However, it was too late. He crashed into the girl. But Julian hugged her tightly, protecting her from the impact of the ice with his own body. The girl lay in his arms while his back hit the ice.
"Julian!" Arcane immediately stopped near him to check on him. "Hey, are you okay?!"
Julian was still lying still with the girl slowly pulling away and sitting next to him.
"Are you okay, sir?" she asked innocently and looked guilty.
"Huh... I'm fine. Just my back hurts," he replied, then turned to her. "Are you hurt? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you."
