Seeing him looking around, Julian spoke.
"You gotta relax man. Seriously. I brought you here on short notice because I saw your situation and I was scared for you"
Chase sighed before looking up. "I feel like I've been here longer than I should've. I'm willing to admit that I did some thinks I regret, but this feels too soon.
It's been nice to see all of you, but I'm going home." His gaze went back to Julian, clearly telling him to come on.
Standing up, Julian followed Chase out of the room, downstairs and to the car.
"Hey…it was nice having you around again."
Chase snapped back the moment he finished.
"Why? What did it fix?"
"That was fucking humiliation at it's finest. Family who hadn't seen me in years with no preparation at all. I need you to take me home."
