In the middle of the night, deep within a certain realm at the back of a well known clan compound,a bout of energy so concentrated could be felt. It was not ferocious in the least bit rather it was calm and soothing, making anyone near it to feel like sunbathing on top of a high spiritual vein eye. The essence of wood element swept throughout the whole kingdom, and across the entire realm for almost forty eight hours before it gradually desipated. A heavy rain fell right after as nature slowly took back what belonged to itself.
The clan members of the Sima family hand a sad yet content smile on their faces as one after the other began to fade. If you look closely you would see they were all and each standing on an array too complicated to the naked eye, and at the center of it was a young lady not older than twelve sitting cross-legged. Her long black hair was left undone so long it swept the stone floor. Her delicate yet to mature features and her soft body visage looked pale and exhausted but her face held no reluctance as she continued to fade alongside her family members. The faint golden glowing particles of their fading body as flowing to the center of the circular array then that energy dispersed out. This was not their fate, no. It was their decision.
They had known a day like this would happen but rather than accepting their fate of being protected by powerful cultivators whose only wish was to monopolize their knowledge on how to elevate demonization plague that had fell upon the whole realm, become puppets for their entirety of existence, and at the end arrive at the same dead end of annihilation, they choose to do a mass healing using their own known array that had been passed down generation after the other. Even as their faces grew paler by the hour, growing fainter by the hour, they looked calm. Sima Liang opened her closed eye, those once brown eyes where now glowing a soft sunny golden colour. From her right clockwise, her father stood steady with his ever serious face. With that soft face of his how did expect to pull something like that off.Sometimes she always wondered if he felt like if smiled less then they would take him more seriously. But the truth was none of them feared him in the least bit.
Her older brother was on the musclular side even though he was a healer. His obsession with body cultivation was no less than his passion for alchemy. He had their father's features but with more unintended sterness to it. He gave her a soft smile with a slight nod of his head. Her younger cousin with his chubby cheeks and soft skin. He was only ten but his cultivation was a little step away from her's. At the moment he had on a goofy wide smile that made his eyes look more closed than open. Her first uncle had a serious face that he was definitely able to pull of because of his hard features, while her aunty, first uncle's wife, beautiful and curved, she gave off an unruly aura but the tamed kind. She was a beast tamer but, after marrying Into the family, and with her natural talent she was able to pick up on alchemy.
The Sima clan had always been of a countable number, not more than twenty in each generation, but they where born cultivation geniuses and where healers. All family heads where at least supreme alchemists that could make immortal pills and even the worst in talent had the chance to reach level ten in alchemy. This generation was full of geniuses with the least among them being a lord alchemist but they were also few counting only seven. Even if they where geniuses they could not hold their ground against five behemoth sects that had countless martial prodigies and accomplished swordsmen. If this was a small scale healing then they would only suffer some regress in their cultivation, but it was an entire realm. Even if it was only a low level realm.
"So what if the heavens will is to annihilate us, we go at our own terms, even as we go down, our dao still remains. The only thing that lingers in my heart is not seeing my grandchild" the voice of her father drifted into everyone's ears and for a moment, a flash of melancholy passed through all of them. As the last bit of Sima Liang dispersed, the array slowly dimmed before dying completely. The once renowned Sima clan was sadly extinct.
In these three days it was not like the sect leaders of the five sects did not want to stop the Sima family, but once the array was activated then even an ancient god could not undo it. It was a one way array with no eye or weak point, the array was the merging of ones very own spiritual core with nature, and since nature nature responds then wether restoration or destruction, no one can stop it. This had been their chance to rule the entire low realm but a mere six people disrupted the whole deal. With grim faces they matched to the Sima clan doors on the third day. Their plan was to salvage whatever little they could get, wether medical recipes or herbs and pills left behind but the funny thing was as the rain continued to pour down heavily, the majestic manor also started to dissipate.
With the doors locked shut and refusing to budge even with the combined efforts of all the five sects leaders. Rays upon rays of colourful yet powerful attacks were thrown at the doors but to no avail. After seven days of continuous raining the colossal manor disappeared, the rain stopped and in its place a simple book about one thumb thick appeared. 'HEALERS TOUCH' was the title of the book, the black, bold and neat cursives made it look more inconspicuous.
"The merits of the Sima clan is immeasurable.altjough extinct their trace will be left behind and their glory never to be superseded. Their ultimate skill ' healers touch' will return to the primordial palace at the heart of heaven laws. The blessings of the Sima family has granted shear realm protection from destruction for a millennium. A new temple shall be erected as a memorial to the Sima clan." A strong voice from the heavens resounded in the entire universe shocking all kinds of races and realms. What did it mean to gain immunity to destruction for a millennium. It meant no matter what type of attack be it magical or natural, the realm would somehow heal itself over and over until the millennium passed. Not to mention how prosperous it will be because of this blessing.
That sound was the verdict of the heavenly laws itself. An entity that was revered by even the gods themselves,it was form from the very beginning of the universe, when chaos was still the sole entity, it had started as an intangible scattered pieces of laws, more of a gibberish string of data then condensed as the universe continued to evolve. With the birth of the. First being on the universe, the god of chaos, it also changed into a more stable yet simple understandable data. Late on it became more powerful to cater for the evolution of the universe. The thing is heavenly laws was formless and just existed within the universe itself, it punished, rewarded, favoured or oppressed the beings of the universe but it never gave an open verdict. People would usually see the results through actions. It had given a spoken verdict only a handful of times and mostly it was because of events that changed the whole universe in whole.
While people where being frantic with speculations in a certain palace in the high heavens, stood a man dressed In elegant robes. He had golden hair which was rare in this part of their realm, his. Eyes were chromatic blue and grey but they gave him a different allure. His handsome face and robust figure was of another level entirely. He ga e off a holistic vibe. Behind him and right above his head was a scythe floating as it crackled with silent lightening. He was the god of destruction, descendant of god of chaos. His face was tranquil as he looked through an orb showing the events of the Sima clan.
" Interesting. They even dare to use Nuwa as their medium. This play is getting more interesting " a melodious laughter revarberated through the whole palace but the attendants who heard this stood still trembling from top to bottom.' dear supremacy, who provoked that big devil' was what they thought In unison.
