Zeros said he didn't know how to describe the girl.
However, Zeros didn't intend to remind her. he was more curious to see what kind of expression the girl would have when she found out that the boy she had treated to dinner was a member of 'Fairy Tail,' a group she had always dreamed of joining.
Soon the waiter brought over a pile of food, filling the entire table. Natsu and Happy, or rather, the cat and Natsu, immediately had their eyes light up.
"I'm starting!" Natsu said, grabbing the food in front of him without any hesitation and stuffing it into his mouth. Happy, the little cat next to him, also picked up a piece of fish that was not much smaller than himself and happily started to gnaw on it.
Seeing Natsu's astonishing appetite, Lucy's heart ached; it was all her money! But she had promised to treat him, so she had to bear it no matter how painful it was.
During the meal, Lucy would occasionally strike up a conversation with Zeros, appearing very lively. Zeros would reply casually. As for Natsu and Happy, the cat and human, they were completely absorbed in the food on the table, as if possessed by starving ghosts, and had no time to speak at all.
Towards the end of the meal, Lucy brought up another matter.
"I forgot to tell you," Lucy said with a smile, "Tonight, the Fire Dragon of Fairy Tail is having a party on a ship at sea, and he invited me. I think I'll be able to join Fairy Tail soon."
"Fairy Tail's... Lord Fire Dragon?" Zeros paused in his eating, glancing at Natsu sitting opposite him. His brow furrowed slightly. Wasn't the real Fire Dragon of Fairy Tail sitting right here, feasting and drinking...?
"Are you sure it really is a fire dragon from Fairy Tail?" Zeros asked Lucy, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"Of course," Lucy nodded. "I saw him use dazzling fire magic with my own eyes, but as for his character… well, since he admitted it himself, I think it can't be wrong!"
"I see!"
Zeros nodded, already somewhat understanding what was going on. No wonder he was such a novice mage, so easily fooled!
Thinking this, he looked at Natsu across from him. At this moment, after Lucy finished speaking, Natsu also stopped eating. He turned his head and looked at Happy, the cat next to him. As Happy had been Natsu's partner for several years, he immediately understood the meaning in his eyes.
"Then I wish you success tonight!"
Zeros smiled and said to Lucy, who nodded repeatedly, "I will definitely do my best!"
"If you were impersonating someone from another guild, I might be able to turn a blind eye. But since it's 'Fairy Tail,' I have no choice but to take action. After all, that's my sister's favorite guild..."
Zeros smiled, but a hint of frost flashed deep in his eyes as he thought to himself.
A moment later, Zeros stood up and said with a smile, "Have you all finished eating? This meal is on me!"
"Oh! I can't possibly accept that!"
Although she said this, the smile between Lucy's brows completely revealed her true thoughts.
"Thank you for your hospitality!"
Natsu and Happy suddenly knelt down and bowed deeply to Zeros, a 'grand salute' that immediately attracted the attention of the other diners in the restaurant.
"How embarrassing!" Lucy covered her face.
Zeros didn't seem to care much, he just shook his head and smiled, then said, "Then I'll be going now, see you again if fate allows!"
After saying that, he turned around and left the restaurant.
