Landon Lockwood glanced at him, frowned slightly, and clicked his tongue in disgust.
"Things have gotten to this point, and you're still not resigned?"
After speaking, he took out his phone and dialed Leo Kane's number.
The ringtone lasted for almost half a minute; just when it was about to automatically disconnect, it was leisurely answered on the other side.
It was unmistakably Leo Kane's casual voice.
"Lockwood? Need something from me?"
This voice sent a jolt through Hector Zane.
Landon Lockwood's tone remained calm.
"Nothing big, just caught someone disobedient, need you to send a few guys over."
"Make sure they're clean and reliable, don't bring me trouble."
He added.
Cora Lowell walked up to him, stared at Hector Zane, and spoke each word distinctly.
"Have you thought it through?"
"Confess obediently, and you can leave alive."
"Otherwise..."
She squinted, her gaze cold, yet her tone gentle as water.
"Do you want to be beaten first, then cry and tell everything?"
