"You're still so young, just over twenty. You're healthy, there's no need to worry about so many illnesses. Don't scare yourself. You're probably just exhausted recently, and your emotions are a bit unstable."
She paused for a moment, then added.
"Besides, even if there's a minor issue, I'm here. We'll take it slow and investigate, there's nothing to fear."
After retrieving their number, the two sat together in the waiting area.
The chairs were made of light gray plastic, and sitting for long was uncomfortable.
Raina Grant kept her head down, her fingers constantly twisting the hem of her clothes, occasionally looking up at the electronic screen on the wall.
Time seemed to stretch endlessly.
Half an hour later, a calm female voice suddenly came over the broadcast.
"Number eighteen, Raina Grant, please proceed to Examination Room Three."
The voice wasn't loud, but it made Raina Grant jolt.
