Many guests gradually stood up, walked hand in hand into the dance floor, and started dancing slowly to the music.

The two exchanged a glance and then laughed simultaneously.

She didn't want to dance, yet was afraid that outright refusing would seem impolite.

Especially with both mothers smiling nearby.
