He stood on the stone bridge at the village entrance, looked back at her, said nothing, only nodded gently towards her.
She quietly clenched her fist.
She must seize every moment.
As her gaze shifted, she suddenly noticed Isaac Vaughn in the corner.
He was facing away from the flickering fire pit, head lowered, sewing stitch by stitch on a piece of Beast Skin.
The skin was laid flat on his knees, but the edges were exceptionally strong.
Seraphina Caldwell quietly got up, walked over, squatted down beside him, staring at him without blinking.
"Isaac, what are you doing?"
Isaac did not look up, the bone needle in his hand still darting quickly back and forth on the Beast Skin.
"This is the skin of a Sea Beast."
"I'm sewing a cloak to keep you dry from the rain."
Seraphina then leaned in for a closer look.
The neckline was indeed very large, the hem hung down, enough to cover below the knees, it really looked like a cloak.
