Selene Kane finally spoke, her voice not loud.
Caleb Shaw was bending his head down, cutting her steak, the silver knife and fork making subtle noises against the porcelain plate.
Upon hearing this name, his hand paused suddenly.
The knife's tip halted on the meat for half a second.
His eyes flickered, a barely noticeable trace of displeasure crossing his gaze.
"He hasn't left the room, has been staying there all the time."
"The mountain spring water was brought in last night, and this morning I arranged for a warship to transport deep sea water, it'll be replaced by the afternoon."
He continued speaking, as if reporting work.
Selene picked up a napkin from the side, leisurely wiping the corner of her mouth.
She didn't look at him, simply said softly, "I'm going up to see him, don't follow."
Caleb lightly murmured a sound, his voice so faint it was almost inaudible.
He stayed where he was, hands hanging by his sides.
That little guy must be throwing a tantrum.
