They stopped at a nearby restaurant. Adrian took the initiative to order the food. Earlier, he had asked the butler about Summer's favorite dishes, and now he ordered accordingly, choosing everything based on her past preferences.
Summer barely noticed any of it. All she wanted was to finish the meal quickly so she could return.
The man sitting across from her, however, seemed to have different intentions. Adrian lazily traced his finger along the rim of his glass while watching her.
Summer remained quiet, her attention fixed on her phone as if it were a convenient excuse to avoid any unnecessary conversation.
"Why are you so quiet?"
"Hm?" Summer finally looked up from her phone. "Did you say something?"
Adrian let out a soft chuckle. "We've been sitting here for several minutes, and you haven't said a word. I'm starting to think spending time with me is that boring."
"No… I was just checking…" Summer began to explain.
"Be honest with me, Summer. Don't keep anything from me."
