Wel clenched his teeth the moment he saw Ren walking with the girls.
"Damn… that bastard…
He embarrassed us, and now he's walking around with girls?"
Ren smiled while talking to Yuna and Mina.
Wel's eyes darkened.

Breathing heavily, Wel ran to the back of the school.
Zel and Rei were there, smoking.
"Senpai! Please… help me get revenge!"
Zel glanced at him.
"And why should I help you? Who even are you?"
Wel quickly bowed.
"I'll pay you! Just help me tear that Ren bastard apart!"
Rei raised a brow.
"How much?"
Wel: "25,000 won!"
Zel smirked. "I like you, kid… Alright. We're in."
Rei asked: "What about the girls? What do they look like?"
Wel: "Blonde hair… blue eyes…"
Rei: "Got it. Easy."

Rei Spots the Target
Walking through the school gate, Rei saw Ren with the girls and laughed.
"Huh? Isn't that the skinny loser Ren?
But those eyes… still demon-like."
He shook his head.
"We're taking the blonde one."
As Ren walked away, Rei followed like a shadow.

Yuna was waiting for Mina near the door.
Suddenly Rei grabbed her from behind.
Yuna: "Hey! What are you doing?!"
Mina ran. "Yuna! Let her go!"
Rei grabbed Yuna's hair and dragged her.
"Shut up!"
Mina attacked him, but Rei kicked her leg.
"Aah!"
Mina fell to the ground.
Rei dragged Yuna toward the corner.

Zel was leaning against the wall, waiting.
Rei: "Here she is, senpai."
Zel looked at Yuna.
"This is the one, Wel?"
Wel nodded nervously.
"Y-yes, senpai."
Zel smirked.
"Put her on my lap."
Rei handed Yuna to him.
She struggled.
"Let me go! Let go—!"
Zel, unfazed, pressed his lips onto hers.

Mina shot up and ran to Ren.
"Ren!! They kidnapped Yuna! Please help!"
Ren turned around.
"What are you talking about, Mina—"
"Not now! Hurry!"
Ren froze for half a second.
In that moment, the shadow appeared on his shoulder.
Shadow: "Zel took her…"
Ren's eyes widened.
His face darkened.
"Shit…
I'LL KILL ZEL."
The shadow whispered:
"So… you want to kill?"
Ren gritted his teeth.
"Yes… I want to. More than anything."

Shadow:
"Then… go to the teachers' room.
Get a screwdriver."
Ren's eyes turned pitch black.
He walked into the teachers' room.
"Sir… the board screws came loose.
I need a screwdriver."
Teacher: "Alright Ren, take one from there."
Ren showed no emotion and grabbed it.
Left the room.
The shadow whispered:
"Kill them. Kill them all."
Ren: "Yes… kill… kill…"
Mina saw him from afar.
"Ren… something's wrong…"
"REN! Do you hear me?!"
But Ren didn't even look.
He just walked.

Street – Yuna on Zel's Lap
Ren spotted Rei near the corner.
Rei turned around.
"Huh?! Ren?!
What are you—"
Ren charged toward him.
"KILL… KILL…"
They turned into the alley—
Everything froze.
Yuna was crying in Zel's lap.
Zel looked up with a mocking smirk.
"Oooh… Ren.
Is that really you?"
He winked.
"We messed with your little blonde friend a bit.
But don't worry, bros stick together, right?"
The shadow screamed in Ren's ear:
"KILL THEM ALL!
DON'T FORGET THE ONES WHO CUT YOUR HAIR!"
Ren's eyes went fully black.
"Yes…
I really will."
Rei rushed at him.
"Come here, you—!"
Ren lifted his hand.
The screwdriver gleamed.
SHLACK!
The screwdriver buried into Rei's eye.
Rei screamed.

As Rei collapsed, Wel panicked and ran.
"S-someone help!
Zel—Rei—Ren's going to kill everyone!"
And the person he ran to was—

Rei was on the ground, screaming in blood.
Zel finally stood up.
"What the hell?!
How is this fatty so strong?!"
Ren walked toward them, slow and heavy.
The screwdriver dripped blood.
His eyes were no longer human.
The shadow whispered:
"Zel next… then Wel…
Then… everyone."
Ren lunged—
But Wel appeared from behind, yelling:
"HEY! Help! Someone—"
And then he froze.
Because someone stepped into view.
Tall.
White hair.
Gray eyes—with a thin black ring inside.
On his jacket was a single symbol:
"VOID — 02"
The boy spoke quietly:
"You're Ren, right?"
Wel, breathless:
"Y-yes! That's him! He's gonna kill us—"
The boy didn't even glance at Wel.
His eyes were only on Ren.

Kazuya tilted his head.
"So 01 has awakened…
I've been waiting to meet you."
Ren stopped.
This stranger felt familiar somehow.

the shadow went silent.
Ren frowned.
Shadow… why aren't you talking?
The shadow whispered:
"He's like me…
But more dangerous…"
Kazuya stepped forward.
A sudden gust pushed Ren back.
"You can't control your shadow, can you, Ren?"
Ren growled.
"Who the hell are you…?"
Kazuya smiled.
"Who am I?
The one even your monster fears."
Zel shouted from behind:
"HEY! Who the hell do you think you—"
Kazuya simply raised a hand.
BOOM!
An invisible force slammed Zel into the wall.
He collapsed, choking.
Ren stepped back.
This… wasn't human.
Kazuya approached him.
"Ren.
You're losing to your shadow.
If this continues… you'll lose Yuna, Mina… everyone."
Ren narrowed his eyes.
"Stay away."
Kazuya smirked.
"If you want to kill someone…
You'll have to get through me first."
His eyes flashed.
Ren's shadow trembled.
Then retreated.
Ren's eyes widened.
"Shadow… why are you running?!"
Shadow whispered:
"He's the second experiment of Void…
Not my master…
But he can erase you."

Kazuya leaned close and whispered:
"If you want to save Yuna…
Learn to control it."
Ren clenched his fist.
"Don't lecture me."
Kazuya walked back.
"Fine. But know this:
I didn't come here to kill you today."
He turned to Zel.
"This trash kidnapped Yuna, right?"
Ren: "Yes."
Kazuya snapped his fingers.
Zel began choking on air, collapsing, eyes rolling back.
Kazuya: "I'm not doing this.
You are, Ren."
Ren blinked.
"What are you—"
Kazuya smiled.
"Go on…
If you're going to be a killer,
your first lesson starts now."
Ren raised the screwdriver.
Yuna cried.
The shadow trembled.
Ren's heart pounded violently.

Yuna's voice shook.

But Ren's eyes were empty.
His breath rapid, hands trembling…

Yuna stepped back, fear carved into her expression.
"Ren, this isn't protecting… stop!"
Right then Mina ran into the scene.
She froze instantly.
Shock.
Silence.
A warm breath.
Ren's hands trembling—not from blood, but from guilt.
Mina finally found her voice:
"Ren… did you do this?"
Ren slowly lifted his head.
His eyes held only one truth:
"If it means not losing you…
I'll burn everything."
Mina stepped back.
Yuna's hands shook.
Ren tried to smile—
but it was twisted with pain.
