After all, in the original timeline, Luffy learned about Ace's impending execution from Hancock and used her ship to travel to Impel Down to rescue him.
As for Vice Admiral Onigumo, Auguro wasn't particularly concerned. Given the current strength of Water Seven, they weren't afraid even if the Marines decided to cause trouble.

At the port, the moment Hancock disembarked, she urgently demanded to know where Auguro lived.

Luffy instantly threw the Water Water Meat aside, grabbing Sandersonia's shoulder and yelling furiously, "How can Ace be executed! He promised me that he would help Whitebeard become the King of the Pirates!"
Sandersonia was startled by Luffy's aggressive move.
The next second, a long, beautiful leg flew across and kicked Luffy away.
"Insolent fool! Who permitted you to approach us!"
Hancock was furious. She disliked men and absolutely forbade any man from getting close to her sisters.

Just then, there was a commotion outside the gate.

Though he didn't know why, Auguro was relieved that the two didn't seriously fight.

Luffy shook his head and pointed at Hancock.

"I want to know, where is Ace right now?"
