Auguro realized he couldn't perfectly control his newly acquired ability yet and immediately normalized the disrupted magnetic field. After a brief commotion, people nearby noticed nothing unusual and resumed their activities.

To avoid causing problems for others, Auguro shifted his training focus inward. Magneto had a highly practical move: constructing a sufficiently powerful force field around himself to isolate most matter and energy. In his prime, Magneto could use this technique to withstand multiple thermonuclear attacks!

Auguro estimated that if he could master this, he could even shield himself from the ancient weapon, possibly Uranus, which destroyed the Lulusia Kingdom in the original timeline!

"Hehe! Time to give this arrogant, backward civilization a taste of science shock!" Auguro chuckled to himself.

Easier said than done, though. To achieve that, Auguro's magnetic control had to reach the atomic level. That was no simple task.

Stuffing a few coins into his pocket, Auguro decided to start with simple metals, as they were the most magnetically sensitive. Once he could alter the atomic structure of metals, he could move on to those high-level techniques.

"Lord Soul King!" Soi Fon reported from outside the room. "The slave-catching crews from the auction houses have begun arriving!"

"The auction houses claim they have high-quality goods this time and have decided to hold a large-scale auction tomorrow!"

"Oh? Now that's interesting!" A cold glint flashed in Auguro's eyes.

Initially, he only planned to eliminate the scum who captured people. Now, it seemed he could also use the opportunity to clean up the bastards who treated human lives as commodities to be bought and abused! After all, no buyers meant no sellers!

"Tomorrow, we'll join the fun!"

Meanwhile, on Island 66 of the Sabaody Archipelago, a group of commoners was violently driven to their knees along both sides of the road.

Down the center of the wide road, a team of white-suited CP0 agents led the way, their eyes vigilantly scanning their surroundings. Behind them were two individuals wearing suits similar to astronaut gear, their heads encased in transparent glass masks.

Celestial Dragons!

The commoners on both sides of the road knelt fearfully, bowing their heads, terrified that a slight mistake might anger the two nobles, making their deaths meaningless.

The two Celestial Dragons were sitting comfortably on the backs of two humans, who had reins fastened around their necks, treating the humans explicitly as mounts! These were the slaves, explicitly forbidden by the World Government, yet taken for granted by the Celestial Dragons—a massive irony.

"Kryngdorn, I heard the auction house has many good items again! Want to check it out together?"

The speaker was the Celestial Dragon on the left, a short man with blue hair and deeply sunken cheeks, looking very much like a monkey!

Kryngdorn was short and round; anyone looking from behind might mistake him for a ball! As he whipped the slave beneath him, he replied happily, "Great idea, Baskandal! I'm tired of playing with this slave already! I need some new ones!"

Hearing this, Kryngdorn's heart instantly filled with fear. What happened to unwanted slaves? If they were lucky, they would be assigned to work in some corner of Mariejois until death. If they were unlucky, they would be executed on the spot!

Though Celestial Dragons lived in luxury, they wouldn't waste money feeding idle hands!

The slave, overwhelmed by terror, involuntarily shuddered, causing Kryngdorn to fall off his back!

"Protect Saint Kryngdorn!"

A nearby CP0 agent roared, using Soru (Shave) to cross several meters in a flash, catching Kryngdorn safely.

Bang!

A gunshot. The CP0 agent's eyes widened. He looked at the bullet hole in his chest and collapsed in terror.

Kryngdorn stepped forward, furiously stomping on the CP0 agent's head.

"You lowlife! Who gave you permission to touch me with your filthy hands!"

In a short while, the CP0 agent's head was a bloody, mangled mess.

Tired of stomping, Kryngdorn stopped, panting heavily. He turned to the CP0 captain nearby.

"This lowlife offended me! Go find his family and kill them all!"

While most CP0 agents were orphans trained from childhood, some did marry and have children. Their children were often candidates for the CP0 themselves. Kryngdorn's order symbolized the complete erasure of a family that had served the Celestial Dragons for generations!

The CP0 captain's face showed no emotion, merely responding firmly, "Yes, Saint Kryngdorn!"

Relieved, Kryngdorn climbed back onto the slave's back and viciously swung his whip.

"Walk straight! You useless slave!"

The slave suppressed his terror and gingerly moved forward. His foot stepped into the blood pooling from the dead CP0 agent, leaving a long trail of bloody footprints.

The next day, Auguro arrived at Island 1. The largest auction houses were all concentrated here. Taking a seat in the back, Auguro could survey all the seating.

Honestly, this world is full of utter scum!

The room, with seats for over six hundred people, was almost completely full!

"You all take note of who buys the slaves!" Auguro instructed his crew.

Clearing out everyone was impractical and would negatively impact the Holy Spirit Empire's reputation. So, Auguro decided to target only those who actually purchased slaves!

Soon, the auction officially began. Slaves were not immediately put up for bid; they first sold general items, such as rare jewels and famous swords. Auguro even spotted one of his own-produced firearms being auctioned!

It was a customized version adorned with luxurious gold, silver, and embedded gems. Auguro recalled a wealthy merchant purchasing it for collection and self-defense. He hadn't expected it to show up here.

It was likely stolen by some pirate and sold. After all, the price of that single pistol was enough to buy a hundred ordinary handguns.

Finally, the highly publicized slaves made their appearance!

"Ladies and gentlemen! Next up is the main event of today's auction!" the auctioneer announced enthusiastically.

"Our next item is the Captain of the Blood Arrow Pirates, Striker! A great pirate with a bounty of forty-six million Berries!"

As the auctioneer's words fell, a muscular man nearly three meters tall was dragged onto the auction block. A bomb collar was fastened around his neck. Any slight movement, and he would be instantly decapitated!

"Ooh! This is a good slave! I offer sixty million!" a man dressed like a merchant bid with a smile. Since his bounty was forty-six million, the starting bid was fifty million!

"Sixty million for such a rare slave? I offer sixty-five million!"

"Sixty-eight million!"

The crowd noisily competed for the bid.

Just then, the main doors of the auction house were violently pushed open.
