Auguro understood the situation. Unless those human scum above were dealt with, the victims wouldn't dare follow him.

"Wait for me here! Don't worry! Starting today, you are free!"

With that, Auguro turned and headed for the deck.

In the eyes of the victims, a small flame of hope seemed to flicker to life!

On the deck, Auguro looked coldly at the men before him. The leader of the slave-catching crew was slightly overweight, with a mean face and a long scar running from the corner of his left eye down to his neck.

"Kid, do you know who we sell this cargo to? How dare you interfere?" the scarred man growled fiercely.

Auguro replied calmly, "It doesn't matter who. You're not taking these people today!"

"Damn you! You don't know what you're getting into! I'll put you down right now! Kill him!"

Several men rushed toward Auguro, yelling strangely.

Auguro noted their strength. These slavers were quite capable, with bounties mostly in the tens of millions of Berries range.

That made sense. After all, powerful pirates were considered high-quality goods in the slave trade! They needed strength to capture such valuable cargo!

Yes, you heard right: in this messed-up world, even pirates weren't exempt from the slave trade!

And yet, the slave trade was officially prohibited by the World Government!

The ultimate irony was that the biggest slave owners were the Celestial Dragons, protected by the World Government itself.

The justification was laughably absurd: the Celestial Dragons are "gods" and therefore don't have to abide by the laws of man!

Truly arrogant bastards with no limits.

Watching the men charge, Auguro silently drew his Zanpakutō and casually flicked it.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

More than ten thin, silver lines appeared in the air, like a giant net completely enveloping the slave-catchers.

Hiss!

Blood instantly sprayed from multiple wounds on each man, and they collapsed, groaning, just a meter from Auguro.

"Scum! Die!"

Auguro flashed to the slaver boss, his Zanpakutō slashing fiercely toward his neck!

"Wait! We work for Joker! If you kill us, you ruin Joker's business!" the scarred man yelled frantically.

Auguro paused, a strange look crossing his face. Why does everything lead back to that flamingo?

He thought for a moment, took a Den Den Mushi from his coat, and dialed Doflamingo's number.

"Fufufu..."

The familiar laugh sounded.

"What, decided to accept my kind offer, Auguro?"

Auguro gave the Den Den Mushi a look of distaste and said coldly, "Doflamingo, your man fell into my hands!"

"My man?"

Doflamingo paused, glanced around his castle at his family members, and saw no one missing. He asked confusedly, "What are you talking about, my man?"

Auguro tapped the scarred man's face with the flat of his blade, signaling him to identify himself.

The scarred man's face was a miserable mess, a mixture of sickness and fear.

On the other Mushi, Doflamingo's face had turned very grim.

"I'll give you one last chance. Speak the truth, now! Or I won't even wait for Auguro; I will personally give you the most agonizing torment imaginable!"

The scarred man instantly broke down. He bowed his head to the deck.

"Joker! I'm Tak, a supplier to the Sabaody Auction House! I've been working for you for almost ten years!"

Hearing this, Doflamingo finally understood. He spoke to Auguro.

"He's not my man! At most, he's a long-time customer! Since he fell into your hands, he's yours to deal with!"

Tak instantly panicked, screaming, "Joker! I've supplied you for nearly ten years! You can't just abandon me!"

Unfortunately, Doflamingo didn't even bother to reply, hanging up the Den Den Mushi immediately.

"Scum! Looks like no one is coming to save you!"

Auguro gave a grim smile, and his Zanpakutō sliced a graceful arc. Tak's head flew high before landing on the deck, the look of terror on his face undiminished.

In his castle in Dressrosa, Doflamingo gave a cold laugh.

"What an idiot! A mere small-time supplier, daring to make me an enemy of Auguro?"

He had already had Trebol check the ledgers. The profit from the single batch of weapons Auguro was selling him was worth five years of Tak's entire slave supply!

Add to that the powerhouses Auguro commanded. Doflamingo needed Auguro's strength to achieve his greatest dream! What right did Tak have to be compared to that?

"Trebol!"

Doflamingo called his subordinate.

"What is it, Doffy?" Trebol shuffled in, mucus dripping from his nose.

"Go to the Sabaody Archipelago and notify our auction house there to stop selling slaves immediately!"

"No! Tell them we are discontinuing all slave trading entirely!"

Doflamingo decided to sever all ties clean.

Trebol was startled.

"Doffy, is that necessary? That's a huge business!"

"Fufufu..." Doflamingo laughed.

"Do you think the slave trade in the Sabaody Archipelago can continue?"

Trebol asked, shocked, "You mean that Auguro is going to attack the slave traders on the Sabaody Archipelago?"

"Fufufu... You didn't hear it, but even over the Den Den Mushi, I could feel the sheer killing intent coming from that guy!"

"This fellow absolutely despises slave traders! I'm certain he will make a move on the Sabaody Archipelago!"

"After all, he has the power to do it!"

"Rather than having him destroy our auction house and ruin our relationship, it's better to cut our losses now!"

Doflamingo, truly a schemer of the sea, had accurately deduced Auguro's intentions from mere fragments of conversation. He even guessed Auguro's next move!

At the same time in Water Seven, Auguro was gathering his trusted subordinates.

"I'm going to the Sabaody Archipelago!" Auguro announced directly.

"Lord Auguro, are we going to have fun? I hear the Sabaody Archipelago is a top-tier tourist spot!" Nami said excitedly.

Auguro smiled.

"We can certainly have some fun! But the main purpose this time is to clear out some trash!"

Everyone was stunned, then realized his meaning. Just minutes ago, Auguro had rescued six captured slaves and had ordered the slaver's head to be hung from the largest dock, declaring that no slave trader was allowed in Water Seven—come one, die one!

Now, Auguro was heading to the Sabaody Archipelago to clear out the trash—it could only mean he was targeting the slave traders! After all, the Archipelago housed the largest slave auction house!
