In God's Eye, Zagara possesses Tier 4 physical abilities and Tier 3 mental abilities, designated as a Guardian-type hero.
Lin Fan used the Tesseract to teleport Zagara in front of him, then lifted her chin with his finger and asked, "Zagara?"
"Dominator."
The cold frost on Zagara's pretty face receded, and she smiled faintly.
Izsha then bowed and said, "Dominator, an unusual Space Rift has been discovered in the Red Zone, and creatures from another World are Breaking Through."
Lin Fan frowned.
Mission Update: (Main Quest) Due to your premature acquisition of the Tesseract, Loki was unable to open the Space Rift, enraging Thanos. The Chitauri, fearful of their Master's wrath, accelerated their fleet's journey. Along the way, they discovered a branch of the Arachnid and successfully negotiated with the Arachnid Queen. They tore open a Warp passage to invade this Planet, and must eliminate 1 million Arachnid advance troops. (Reward: Sub-branch unit: Mutated Combat Bodies.)
Lin Fan stood up and thought to himself, "The Arachnid, a Zerg civilization known for its sheer numbers, has always devoured Planets with its rapid reproduction and fierce Zerg Swarm armies."
Given the current Insectoid Clan forces in Manhattan, it would be extremely difficult to resist 1 million Arachnid preliminary Zerg Swarm, and the newly established Armory cannot be destroyed like this.
Furthermore, the over two million people in the Red Zone are Lin Fan's future source of troops.
He absolutely could not let the Chitauri disrupt this.
The Arachnid tore open a Warp rift and, guided by the Chitauri's coordinates, landed in Manhattan's Red Zone. A continuous stream of 1 million terrifying Arachnid Big Claws poured out.
The Arachnid's Space Rift was very close to Tony's Stark Tower, so Tony's Steel Legion was the first to come under attack.
Unfamiliar with the Arachnid, Tony defined these terrifying, clawed insects as part of the Dominator's forces.
Jarvis: Their numbers exceed 100,000… 200,000… 300,000… 500,000… and are still increasing… I suggest activating the contingency plan, Plan B: initiate Sky Carrier escape if Stark Tower falls.
Tony said in surprise, "Where on earth is the Dominator's Zerg hidden? How can there be so many hidden ones? Does he want to catch them all in one fell swoop? Damn it… Deploy all mechanical legions."
Outside Stark Tower, a steel platform had already been erected. Facing the surging Arachnid, the second-generation mechanical legions showed no fear.
At the forefront were the Annihilator mechanical legions equipped with heavy machine guns. Bullets were continuously manufactured by the Armory underground at Stark Tower.
The Marine of the Arachnid is a type of pincer-shaped giant insect, the most numerous basic insect in Arachnid civilization. They possess Tier 2 physical abilities and Tier 1 mental abilities, with incredibly tenacious life. They can only be killed instantly by hitting their compound eyes located within their pincers; otherwise, even if only limbs remain, they can still counterattack.
A storm of bullets swept through, leaving the Arachnid Big Claws riddled with wounds, but they continued to charge, completely unafraid of conventional attacks. Each moment they held on bought their comrades behind them a chance to advance further.
Regardless of their type, most Zerg obey a powerful existence, which gives the Zerg extremely terrifying efficiency.
When tiny forces unite impeccably, this force is enough to make even the more powerful feel fear!!
The heavy firepower coverage of the Annihilator machine legions did not have the desired effect. Tony was already on the Sky Carrier in the Armory, and it was estimated that Stark Tower was doomed in this battle.
Tony said to Jarvis, "Send out the Freezers, Burners, and Floaters."
Inside Stark Tower, tens of thousands of drones were released.
First were the Freezers, modified from ordinary drones with stronger load capacity and structure, carrying a large number of liquid nitrogen bombs for aerial bombardment.
As the liquid nitrogen bombs crashed down, the ultra-low temperature caused the Arachnid Big Claws to halt, their bodies freezing and becoming fragile. They were then trampled by their comrades behind them, instantly shattering into pieces.
Combined with the Annihilator's bullet storm coverage, the situation did indeed ease, but with 1 million Arachnid constantly advancing, the outcome remained uncertain.
After the Freezers came the Burners. These Burners, identical in structure to the Freezers but equipped differently, rapidly launched high-density, ultrathin combustible material, which reacted chemically with the air, causing the struck targets to burn for an extended period.
Finally, there were the Floaters, high-pressure storage batteries that could release high-voltage currents, paralyzing targets and slowing their advance.
Tony had meticulously planned against Lin Fan's Zerg, and these three drone series were his creations. However, he was now facing Arachnid, not Lin Fan's Zerg.
After the actual combat results, only the Freezers proved to have a strong counter-effect against the Arachnid, but their numbers were too few to form a suppression.
The Burners only caused the Arachnid to burn, but these Big Claws continued to charge as if nothing had happened, even igniting large numbers of their comrades. However, aside from raising the temperature of that area, they had no lethal effect.
The Big Claws among the Arachnid have very high resistance to flames. They naturally grow on dry Planets, often with volcanic terrain, and their carapaces have evolved to resist heat.
As for the Floaters, these Big Claws of the Arachnid have little liquid inside their bodies, and their heat-resistant carapaces are almost insulating.
With two out of three creations failing, Tony's confidence was severely shaken.
However, these were just some engineering machines.
The Arachnid continued to advance, fearless of flames and electricity. Even liquid nitrogen bombs, in the face of their sheer numbers, could not stop their progress.
Tony had Jarvis deploy all the second-generation mechanical legions. The Arachnid's relentless charge had already resulted in the loss of 54,571 Big Claws, yet the 1 million Zerg Swarm still stretched endlessly into the distance.
Behind the Annihilators were the Hulks. These mechanical legions, equipped with shields and powerful impact piles, could crush any enemy into a pulp in close combat.
To prevent the Arachnid from landing on Stark Tower, the Hulks leaped off the platform, their arm-mounted impact piles continuously smashing open the Big Claws, like a juicer.
However, the sheer number of Arachnid was so great that Tony's eight hundred Hulks could be rendered scrap within five minutes.
