Chapter 27 - 27

In the valley, Lin Fan, Arthur, and Boyka were sitting in a tree. Not far away, Ren Ya, only 13 years old, was fighting with a Yaksha Ape whose size was several times his own.

Hanma Ren Ya is the son of Hanma Yujiro, a human with the bloodline of the strongest creature on Earth.

But now Ren Ya was too young; facing the strong Yaksha Ape, he could only be beaten to a pulp, yet even though he was covered in wounds, he continued to struggle.

If he couldn't defeat the Yaksha Ape, how could he catch up to Hanma Yujiro? If he couldn't defeat the Yaksha Ape earlier than Hanma Yujiro, how could he be qualified to challenge Hanma Yujiro?

Ren Ya activated his endorphins, boosting his physical abilities, activating his neural reaction speed, and making his movements more agile and varied.

Each strike from the Yaksha Ape was enough to kill an ordinary person. This creature could easily kill even a grizzly bear and represented absolute dominance in the forest.

Finally, Ren Ya used all his strength to deliver a final punch, cracking the Yaksha Ape's facial bones and breaking off the terrifying fangs at the corners of its mouth.

Ren Ya won by a narrow margin.

At this moment, Lin Fan came out with Arthur and Boyka.

But Ren Ya was already exhausted, his entire body losing strength, and he fell to the ground.

The Yaksha Ape stood up again, thinking that Lin Fan and the others were going to harm Ren Ya. In its battle with Ren Ya, the Yaksha Ape had already acknowledged his existence.

The Yaksha Ape fiercely pounced on Lin Fan.

Boyka, ahead of Arthur, jumped onto the Yaksha Ape's head, striking it with his elbow while simultaneously using a hold to strangle the Yaksha Ape's neck.

The severely injured Yaksha Ape could no longer withstand more attacks and quickly collapsed to the ground, a flicker of unwillingness in its eyes.

Boyka's physical abilities should not have been able to defeat the Yaksha Ape, but after serum enhancement, he could easily suppress the severely injured Yaksha Ape, being a notch stronger than Ren Ya even when he activated his endorphins.

Lin Fan did not kill the Yaksha Ape, but he took Ren Ya and returned on a private jet.

Ren Ya woke up en route.

"Where is this? Where are you taking me? What happened to the Yaksha Ape!" Ren Ya rattled off a series of questions.

Lin Fan waved his hand, and Boyka immediately stepped forward.

Ren Ya frowned; Boyka carried Killing Intent, indicating ill intentions.

Boyka threw a punch at Ren Ya, who dodged by tilting his head and kicked upwards, aiming for Boyka's face.

Boyka embraced with both hands, trapping Ren Ya's calf on his shoulder, then lifted Ren Ya and threw him into the aisle between the seats.

Boyka used a neural reaction enhancement serum; even if Ren Ya activated his endorphin enhancement, he could only barely contend with Boyka.

However, Ren Ya's body had not yet recovered, and the battle with the Yaksha Ape had left him extremely fatigued, so being suppressed so quickly by Boyka was unavoidable.

"That's enough, Boyka," Lin Fan called Boyka back.

Ren Ya lay on the ground, staring at Lin Fan. "Who exactly are you?"

"You want to defeat Hanma Yujiro. I can help you become stronger, provided you join my command. It's that simple," Lin Fan looked down at Ren Ya.

Ren Ya's eyes lit up, and he said, "You can make me stronger."

Boyka's skills had greatly interested Ren Ya before; fighting more strong individuals was the only way to increase his strength.

Arthur then asked, "Captain, what do you see in him? He has no professional skills at all! Not even as good as Boyka."

"Potential," Lin Fan said indifferently.

Ren Ya stood up and said, "There's still some time until my promised fight with my father. If you can make me stronger, I'll stay with you for now."

At this point, Lin Fan's team was only 1 person short of retaining the Base usage rights.

However, Lin Fan had no one in mind for this last person, so he brought Jessica along to make up the numbers.

Arthur was very dissatisfied, complaining that Lin Fan's wasn't a company, so why did he need a female secretary.

Jessica's father was a private detective; to become a contracted detective for the Osborn Company, he must have had extraordinary skills, so Jessica should be more than capable of handling secretarial work.

Lin Fan called his superiors, informing the military: the personnel had been fully assembled.

The superiors had thought Lin Fan would retreat in the face of difficulty, but they didn't expect him to gather everyone. This made them furious; they thought Lin Fan was being perfunctory and completely disbelieved him.

They also stated that a test would be conducted, and as long as three personnel qualified, Lin Fan would be considered to have assembled everyone, gaining access to the military Base usage rights and the ability to recruit soldiers from non-ace units.

Otherwise, the team would be immediately disbanded!

However, there was no need to worry about this; it could be left to Arthur. Lin Fan had already found S.H.I.E.L.D.'s database. Although the decryption level was very high, Tony had left a loophole, and the Hacker Dagger could easily hack into it.

The location of the Tesseract had been locked down.

The Zerg were deployed.

In the past two days, there had been major movements in the Amazon Rainforest. Splitters had cleared a radius of tens of kilometers, and Decomposers quickly converted sufficient biomass, transmitting it through quantum sharing channels.

A wave of Zerglings had already been prepared from the Initial Zerg Base located 10,000 meters deep underground on Manhattan Island.

Although 3,000 Zerglings didn't look as overwhelming as Splitters, their second-tier physical abilities were incomparable to Splitters.

Flower Flag loved to dig tunnels, but the Zerg also loved to dig tunnels. In terms of digging, even S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn't out-dig the Zerg.

The Zerglings, through Diggers, reached the underground Base where the Tesseract was stored.

Hundreds of meters beneath the Triskelion, an alarm suddenly blared. Director Fury, Agent Coulson, Agent Hill, Natasha, and others immediately took their troops down in a cargo elevator.

But it was too late. The Zerglings had already devoured the humans there, and the Tesseract had also been taken by Lin Fan. Another mystery was born in the empty underground Base.

Linked to the cases of large amounts of U.S. dollars disappearing from multiple banks in Manhattan, S.H.I.E.L.D. went into full emergency mode, determined to recover the Tesseract.
