Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Seismic Release Bloodline Limit

In the end, even though Yuya felt it was impossible, he still gritted his teeth and swallowed the strange fruit that looked like a Devil Fruit.

One second… two seconds…

Nothing happened.

"It doesn't seem poisonous, but… I don't feel any special ability either."

Standing still, Yuya looked slightly disappointed. He couldn't tell what kind of ability that fruit was supposed to grant. After all, it had been years since he came to this world—his memories were already fuzzy.

But since no change had appeared by now, it seemed it truly was just a coincidence, a fruit that happened to look that way.

"Forget it."

Shaking his head, Yuya returned to the wooden post where he had been training, lit his lamp, and prepared to begin his five hundred straight punches.

Yet, just as he clenched his fist, he suddenly froze in surprise.

"What is this?!"

He could feel something—a faint movement of chakra inside his body. A soft white glow appeared around his fist.

In the next instant, realization dawned.

An uncontrollable excitement spread across his face.

"Could this be… the ability from that Devil Fruit?"

"Wait, this white glow looks familiar. Don't tell me this is…"

His eyes widened in disbelief, as if struck by a miracle. The faint white aura—it could only be that power!

Heart pounding, Yuya swung his glowing fist toward the training post.

Buzz!

When his fist was about to touch the wood, the weak white aura suddenly exploded outward.

Crack!

A faint sound echoed—like shattering ice or breaking glass. Fine cracks spread through the air itself.

The space seemed to fracture like a mirror.

Then, a powerful shockwave burst forward, slamming into the wooden post he had been training on.

CRACK!

The post snapped cleanly in two from the groove he had carved into it earlier.

Lowering his fist, Yuya could no longer suppress his joy.

There was no mistake—this was the power of one of the strongest Devil Fruits from the One Piece world: the Gura Gura no Mi, the Quake-Quake Fruit!

The one who ate this fruit could unleash shockwaves at will—quakes through the air, earth, or sea—potentially powerful enough to destroy the world.

Yuya didn't even stop to question why such a fruit existed in the Naruto world. He clenched his glowing fist in excitement, eyes shining.

With this power, who cared if he couldn't use ninjutsu?!

Time passed before he finally calmed down.

"Though I've somehow obtained the power of the Quake-Quake Fruit, it feels… slightly different than expected."

He walked up to a large tree nearby—the old post was already shattered—and decided to test it again.

"Hah!"

With a sharp breath, he tightened his fist.

Buzz!

The same white glow appeared, dim but distinct.

He punched forward.

Boom!

His fist stopped just short of the tree trunk, yet the impact felt real—as if he had struck something solid.

This was the Quake-Quake Fruit's power to shake the air itself. If developed further, it might even shatter space.

Crack!

Tiny fractures spread through the air around the impact point, as if the very world had split.

But the cracks were delicate.

The thick tree trembled under the shockwave, shedding a few leaves.

"Tch… of course, I can't expect to break everything with a single punch right away. I'll need serious training to master this."

Yuya nodded to himself, then frowned slightly.

Just now, when he used that quake power, he felt a faint drain of chakra from within.

A tiny amount—but it was there.

"Could it be that, in this world, the Quake-Quake power is linked to chakra… transformed into something like a Seismic Release bloodline limit?"

Puzzled yet intrigued, Yuya continued his experiments.

After some time, he finally understood the essence of his new power.

The Quake-Quake Fruit—now what Yuya called Seismic Release—allowed him to imbue shockwaves into his fists, kicks, and even weapons like kunai or shuriken.

The strength of the shock depended entirely on his physical power.

Simply put—the stronger the body, the stronger the quake!

If Yuya could one day open all Eight Gates and reach the formation of the Gate of Death, he might shatter the moon with a single punch!

Moreover, the quake power did consume chakra, but only slightly—far less than even a D-rank ninjutsu. Even with his poor physique, Yuya could wield it freely.

That meant chakra was no longer his biggest limitation. What mattered most now was strengthening his body and mastering taijutsu.

The stronger his body, the greater his seismic power.

Right now, his punches could only make a large tree tremble and drop a few leaves. He couldn't even match a C-rank ninjutsu's power yet—and that was far from enough.

He had to become stronger.

"There are many ways to enhance the body… Sage Mode, Monster Strength, the Third Raikage's Lightning Release armor, the Eight Gates…"

As he thought of each one, hope flickered in his eyes—but in the end, he could only smile bitterly.

He had none of them, and acquiring them would be extremely difficult.

So, he pushed away those thoughts. For now, he would keep training, strengthen his body, and when he was strong enough—he'd hunt for those secrets.

Just as he was about to resume his training, a sudden thought flashed through his mind.
