Charles Thorn's POV
These days have been rather turbulent and it's unnerving. It almost feels like all those years ago that I brought an end to the Red Tusks Mafia.
My phone rang and I picked up, it was my friend in the shadows that always gave me credible information.
"Hello."
"Charles, I think that someone is watching you and it doesn't seem too good."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I saw several drones on your property earlier today. I had to leave the office before calling you. I don't trust anyone anymore."
"Are they still around the property?"
"No, they left. I used the satellite to follow them but unfortunately they blew up after some time."
"What the hell is happening in New York City? Crime has increased so rapidly and almost every institution is so corrupt."
"That I agree with you. I feel like you should go on a vacation. They are probably targeting the table. You people still wield a lot of power in the city and they want to take over."
