Rocco's POV
I heard several voices afar and soon I was able to twitch my fingers. I slowly opened my eye lids and the sun rays hit my eyes. I groaned in slight discomfort and tried once more.
I peered around and noticed that I was in a simple room and Sandra was lying motionless on a bed beside me.
"Glad to see that you're awake, Sir. Let me go get someone." I turned towards the voice and noticed a maid at the edge of the room.
"Where am I?" I tried to get up and I groaned in pain. My body from my waist upwards felt like it was on fire.
I tried to get up but couldn't move my legs. "What happened?" I started getting agitated because I can't even remember what happened before now.
Then the memories began to fill my mind and I remembered the attack and how we barely escaped dying.
"One of your men brought you here. You're at the Red Tusks Mafia residence. I'll be right back." She said and walked out of the room.
