Aisha's POV
I ate a pack of Doritos as I walked briskly into the office. This is my second day here and most seem to not like me already. I had to quickly drop my dog at the vet because he was vomiting non stop through the night.
"I see you're working really hard to win the hearts of those at the office." Detective Ashley called out from across the room, once I got to my desk.
I know she hates my guts, she made that clear since day one.
I rolled my eyes at her comment and chose to ignore her. I settled down and sat on my desk. Most officers hate me because of my last case where I exposed dirty cops.
I soon felt someone standing over me and raised my head. It was my boss, Mr. Kendrick, I am so surprised I didn't hear him approaching.
"Aisha, I'd like you to come to my office with Ashley." He said loud enough for Ashley to hear.
I nodded and stood up, following him. She walked alongside me and kept giving me the stink eye.
