Although the walk down the cliff was hard as well, Leo didn't even care about it. Compared to the excitement of returning to his universe, this freezing pain beneath his feet was nothing.
Leo kept limping towards the mansion, and after walking for two hours, he felt like he was within the range of the ship's observation
If he had his ring, he wouldn't need to walk so much. He could have established a connection from anywhere, and returned back to the ship, or summoned it to his destination.
Without his items, he was just an ordinary human. Even though the ship still recognized him as his master, it was not as advanced as the Necropolis Ship to be connected to his soul.
He still had to be within the observation range even if he wanted to control the ship with gestures from below.
