Chapter 3 - Chapter 1.2:The Class Leader

Akira pov:

Five hours have passed since the meeting with Class 1-A. It's 3 PM and I'm in my room on the ship with my phone in my hand, right on the bed.

Searching my contacts, I found Kento's phone number and sent him a message on WhatsApp. The message in question said: "Hey Kento, it's me, Akira. Sorry to bother you, but I wanted to ask you something, if it were possible."

While I was looking at my phone waiting for a response, I saw that it was offline.

To wait, I decided to leave my cruise room and head to one of the bars available.

I simply ordered a peach tea and some snacks.

As I sat down at a table in the bar, I heard a notification on my phone.

I took it out of my pocket and it was Kento.

"Sure, go ahead and ask." That was his reply to mine.

"You said Hitto-san is your class representative. Could I have her number? Maybe she'll have a more detailed overview of the situation and I could get more information."

I explained in another message, and after a couple of seconds, Kento replied.

"Oh, I see, that's actually a good idea. I could let her know... although I've noticed she's been a little wary of us lately. Maybe it's just my impression, but I'll give you her number and a reminder that you'll be contacting her,"

"Okay, thank you so much."

I thanked him and waited for Kento to send Kyoko's number.

I wonder what kind of person she is?

After receiving the number, I called her.

A female voice answered on the other end of the line.

"Hello? You should be Akira, right? My classmates told me about you."

Said the female voice and then heard her take a sip of a drink

"Yes, exactly."

I confirmed in response.

"I wanted to ask you to meet up and talk privately about your situation, if you're up for it, of course."

"Sure, no problem. Where can we meet?"

She asked, but I could hear a mix of doubt and uncertainty in her voice.

"Is it okay if we meet at the mini bar in front of the pools?"

I suggested the meeting place.

"Sure, fine. See you there then."

She agreed, then hung up.

Kyoko Pov

It's been 4 weeks now since that account was created and from then on I slowly started to distrust my classmates.

I think the culprit is part of my class.

Because in our class, most of us already knew each other in middle school, so it was very easy to become close and we were a close group, so we ended up sharing secrets.

But every time a post or story from that account is shared, my classmates are upset, and that makes me doubt my theory, even though someone might pretend to be innocent but is the culprit.

But now this guy named Akira Kondo has arrived and he'll apparently help us.

Kento gave him my number a little while ago.

Honestly, we don't know the type of person he is, but apparently my classmates are hoping for his help without raising their guard a bit.

Honestly, they're so naive, who can tell us that he's actually the culprit behind everything?

Of course he comes from a different school than ours but you can never know the true interests of a person.

That's why I'm going into this meeting with full mistrust and suspicion.

Now I'm heading to the meeting place. As soon as I arrived in front of the bar, I went inside.

First, I noticed there were a lot of students.

Akira had warned me there would be a lot of people, so he described what he looked like physically, and as I looked at the students, I saw who I thought Akira might be.

He was a guy about 165 cm tall.

His eyes were scarlet red and very mesmerizing. They were beautiful, like ruby gems that shone in the light.

His hair was short and black, well-combed and tidy. His skin was clear and smooth, and I could see that he took great care of it.

I approached him and he noticed me with a gentle smile and I have to admit.

This guy would make many girls drool over his good looks.

"You're supposed to be Kondo-senpai, aren't you?"

I asked him, since I was sure it was him

"Oh, how formal, you can just call me Akira if you like and Thank you for taking the time to discuss this little thing"

He smiled at me, I just nodded warily and sat down in front of him, sure he's a nice guy and he seems friendly too but I can't let my guard down.

"you're welcome"

"You're wary of me, aren't you? But I understand you."

"get straight to the point please"

I made him understand in an authoritative tone that I didn't want to waste time.

"Well, first of all, I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for what you're going through. I'd like to know what your class bond was and still is. If you want to know the reason I'm asking is because your answer might increase the chances that one of my hypotheses might be correct"

He explained, and his hypothesis most likely points to who the account owner might be.

But since he was referring to my class and me ; "Perhaps he suspects, like me, that the culprit is in my class?" This was my first thought

"Well, I admit we have a really great relationship. We were lucky that a good part of the class already knew each other from middle school, and by connecting with various acquaintances among our classmates, we connected with each other in an excellent way and immediately became close. In fact, I won't deny that we shared many secrets with each other."

"Hmm, interesting."

he muttered

"Listen, is there a charismatic person in your class, someone who has a lot of influence in the class besides you?"

"Yes indeed yes, her name is Rin Ishikawa, she is very popular both in the class and at school... don't tell me,you suspect her?"

I asked confused but at the same time with a hint of curiosity but also of displeasure.

"Indeed yes. With this information you gave me, the chances that my hypothesis is correct have increased, at least by 50 or 60%."

"50 or 60% eh...so you're not 100% sure yet, how will you confirm it?"

I asked with a strong hint of curiosity.

Apparently he really suspects that the culprit was among my companions.

"good question…well I'll answer you now"

he said taking a sip of his tea

"First, I'll approach your classmate.

building a relationship with them and earning their trust.

Then, I'd like you to give me some information about them so I can better understand what kind of people they are and figure out how to best get along with them.

Then... since we'll probably be staying at some hotel in Matsuyama or the capital, Kochi, as soon as we arrive on the island of Shikoku, I'd like you to organize a pajama party."

he explained.

His voice was calm and quiet

the atmosphere around us I don't know why was relaxing just thanks to his presence

but I wonder why he wants me to create a pajama party

"Why a pajama party?"

I expressed the question I was asking myself

"because that evening we will play a game"

A game? I asked myself

"Think about what a game would be like where hidden truths and secrets could be revealed?"

I thought about his question for at least a few seconds until I came up with the answer.

It seems simple but then thinking about what plan he could have in mind, it was brilliant

"Truth or Dare"

he simply nodded in agreement

"So then if the culprit is really one of our classmates, he will publish posts about what we were going to say that day"

Even if I'm confused.

How will he make sure that the possible culprit doesn't understand, but above all how will he convince my classmates?

"Sorry again, Kondo-senpai, but how are we supposed to figure out which of my classmates is the culprit?"

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves now. Let's just confirm that the culprit is indeed a member of your class. We'll figure out who exactly it is later."

he said and I nodded in agreement with him.

He stood up and held out his hand to me

"So what do you say about being partners?"

He asked me with another kind smile.

The energy he transmitted was warm and welcoming, and he had a serene aura around him.

I thought about the offer for a while until I stood up too.

"Okay Akira-senpai"

I called him by name for the first time.

I shook his hand and we formed our close collaboration to find the culprit of my class.
