Si Qi and Si Hua exchanged a glance and agreed.
This matter concerning the eardrops is neither too big nor too small. If it were to fall into the hands of a man, and he happened to know that the eardrops belonged to the Princess Consort, they might falsely accuse her of having improper relations, which would ruin her reputation.
"We servants will go look for it."
Si Qi and Si Hua quickly ran off, while Feng Qing let out a sigh of relief. After a moment, she glanced towards Hong Chi and Guo Feng and said, "Why don't you go ahead and see what's happening with the Fifth Princess?"
Hong Chi and Guo Feng shook their heads and refused, saying, "We are under the Prince's orders to protect the Princess Consort. Other matters don't concern us."
