Stellan Sutton didn't know when he had come over, but he was quietly watching her.
His eyes carried an emotion she couldn't comprehend, looking somewhat heavy.
He must not have had a good chat with Ms. Ellison just now. She was so exhausted earlier that she practically fell asleep as soon as she lay down, not even hearing any commotion downstairs.
"Did I disturb you?"
Stellan gathered his thoughts and asked softly.
Eve Sherman shook her head, saying nothing.
The two just quietly stared at each other.
Stellan looked at her fair face and raised his hand to tuck her hair behind her ear.
"I won't disturb you anymore, sleep a little longer."
"Did you argue with Mrs. Ellison?"
Eve asked softly.
"No."
Stellan shook his head, "With Grandpa there, how could I argue with her? We just exchanged a few words."
