Dexter Shaw today seemed determined to have a talk with Eve Sherman, but she was annoyed with him and wanted to leave. However, he clung to her like a sticky plaster, showing no intention of letting her go.
Eve Sherman didn't want to argue with him on a day like today, especially with so many people watching.
Thinking this, she quickened her pace.
"Eve, I'm trying to talk to you properly, are you really not going to give me any face at all?"
"Why do I need to give you face? Besides, I've already said, between Stellan Sutton and me..."
Before Eve Sherman could finish her sentence, her wrist suddenly tightened, and she found herself pulled into a warm embrace.
She lifted her gaze to see Stellan Sutton's side profile.
He wrapped his arm around Eve Sherman's waist, smiling as he looked at Dexter Shaw.
"Shaw, what's going on?"
Dexter Shaw flashed a smile, walking towards Stellan Sutton.
