Not long after, she received a text message—Autumn Ellison was now in an office building in the city center.
This place was not far from Hess, and Eve Sherman was very familiar with it. Many of her previous jobs had involved partners in this building.
She grabbed the car keys and drove out in Stellan Sutton's most inconspicuous car.
Half an hour later, she parked in the garage beneath the building and followed the address Autumn gave her upstairs.
The upper floors housed a large company; Eve had been here before too.
She didn't know what Autumn Ellison was doing here.
As soon as she reached the floor, the receptionist stopped her.
"I'm sorry, who are you here to see? Do you have an appointment?"
Eve Sherman shook her head. "Ellison asked me to come."
"Ellison? We don't have anyone by that name here."
"It's fine, let her in."
A woman who looked like a secretary hurried over to them and said.
Only then was Eve allowed inside.
