Eve Sherman stared blankly at his back.
He just patted her head!
Eve Sherman had never been patted on the head since she was a child.
During school, people would maliciously pull her braids.
She instinctively raised her hand to touch the spot where Stellan Sutton had touched, and her little heart began to race again.
Realizing she was being a bit too naive, she lay back down to try to sleep.
However, she couldn't fall asleep at all.
Stellan Sutton changed his clothes and went downstairs to exercise, leaving the room feeling suddenly a bit empty.
Eve Sherman stared at the ceiling, unable to sleep, so she struggled to get up, got ready, and went downstairs to accompany Sutton.
Sutton was lying in the hospital bed, but his spirits seemed quite good.
"Is my granddaughter-in-law up?"
Sutton looked at Eve Sherman and then noticed she was walking a bit oddly, and couldn't help but frown.
"Granddaughter-in-law, what's wrong with your leg?"
