Wyatt saw Eve staying quiet and asked again, "Are you actually talking about yourself? Who've you caught feelings for? Your husband?"
Eve glanced at her phone, feeling a pounding headache.
She wasn't planning to reply, but Wyatt sent another voice message.
"Come on, say something! You've stirred up my gossip soul, and now you're shutting up?"
Eve sighed. "There's really nothing much to say."
"What do you mean there's nothing much to say? Hurry up, spill it, tell me what's going on. Seriously, with how close we are, aren't we supposed to talk about everything and figure it out together?"
"Well, it's just like you said. I just felt something was off, so I asked you. Since you've already given me the answer, there's nothing else to say."
"Come on. You never had feelings for your husband before, and now you do? Isn't that a good thing? When are you going to bring him over for dinner with us? Never mind, I'll set it up now. You two just find a time to come!"
